the reference was Nixons so called "PHONE CALL" via ham radio transmission to the moon, 238,855 miles..

I personally don't believe it happen.....

No big deal... looks like I'm in the minority...

PS... planes did not take down the twin towers either....LOL

all good...

Happy Sunday
So you don't think that crews or satellites 250K miles into space can establish radio communications with ground stations on earth ?

You don't realize that a radio wave in space travels with far less resistance in a straight line than terrestrial waves or ones following the earth's curvature ?

Do you suppose there's a reason we use radio telescopes to explore the outer reaches of the universe verses optical ?

This moon crew didn't establish a hard line phone link, the receiving station on the ground did ---- AKA Houston as an example.

The moon crew radios Houston, they can easily communicate by radio transmission as they have throughout any mission.
The only difference is brief delay from the time Houston speaks until the moon crew receives it (186K miles per second delay), then replies with a similar brief delay.

The receiving station at Houston establishes a regular ole phone call with the White House, when the President is on the line, Houston simply toggles a switch, now the same analog radio conversation possible with Houston, has been patched to the phone line (Think somebody picking up an extension phone), the only caveat is only one person can speak at a time, similar to any normal radio transmission.

Out of all the bizarre shit you post and believe, how you can doubt such a simple and common procedure I honestly find completely baffling.

Nope what ?

The fact you're the minority, or the real possibly more the singularity, isn't what's so damned scary about that response.
It's not your sanity that concerns me, it's that I know you're just being f*cking hard headed.

Not just any Sunday, our 40th anniversary 😁😘
40 years ago, two days later we were at Havasu for a week, then rented a Houseboat on Mead for the following week. Then the two of us spent another week exploring the upper reaches of Mead towing our Zodiac inflatable that was usually mounted to our sportsfishing boat.
Never saw another boat that entire week, bet you can't do that this time of the year now.

This year we lavishly splurged, πŸ€— we went to our favorite local Jewish deli and enjoyed their amazing Philly Cheesesteaks. 😁🀣

So enjoy the rest of your day, no worries I'll leave you in peace, acquiescing that you're truly beyond gone. 😳 πŸ˜‰

I sorta gathered that and finding that belief so bizarre, chose the 'Hard Headed' option. πŸ₯΄

I'm not one to see many conspiracy theories, but I do pay attention to both sides of an arguement.

Rmarion will love this as it does make some good points.

GM rmarion, G'day 'Mate!

I like you style, and admire you conviction, but would you consider it if you saw it on dozens of other boating websites?

It's real Bro. I did it. Others on here did it. Lotsa times. No, we did not talk to the moon. We just made work calls, personal calls from on the water, using VHF radio, patched through marine operators, nationwide. Like to our customers, suppliers, family, and friends. It is real, and it works, even in space.

But don't take my word for it. Still one left. In 2006. lol. Call "Whiskey, Oscar, Oscar. on Sideband radio. Make the call.

DuckDuckGo, or Google, "Does anyone still use marine telephone operators..." Here's the Hull Truth Bro. G'day! Enjoy!
and always, Dominate!

Well, I wish you both luck and patience in your honorable quest to reach out to our boating brethren.
I suspect an extended hand will be insufficient, might I suggest the use of a Flying Gaff 🀣πŸ₯΄

In our last episode we might have breached the gap of connecting said transceiver to phone. I believe the current blockage is some strange belief that radio waves, despite their similarity to light waves, can not travel through the vacuum of space. This, despite the common acceptance that light waves which occupy a different frequency range of the spectrum, somehow can, or at least simply appear to ??? πŸ€”πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

my reason I said "NOPE" . Since November 5th, 2020, I've went deep down the rabbit hole and have reviewed 1000s of links, documents of so much "SHIT" (T that's for you to grab, and run me thru the mud)....

NOPE = Now I believe we didn't go to the Moon...

shit Hidabeast has a speech where she's says "Someday, we will breakthru the Firmament" WTF..

Ham radio transmission...
I believe that can circumvent the earth many times...

lets agree (Again I dont) we did go to the Moon... (which, we've been told is 238,000 miles) from earth... where would the other operators location be to forward this transmission? They would need to be located in SPACE?

so my answer is actually 2 fold...

but my main answer is NOPE , due to my belief of we didn't land on the moon...

disclaimer... MY belief only....LOL

I'd love to have a Beer with all... cause you all would die of laughter with my fucking beliefs....LOL

Have a great day..

LOV RDP

PS... im playing in a golf tournament today in Palm Springs... Im taking pics while watching planes spraying us... but some just believe those to be contrails... LOL.

WTF is it with roofers πŸ€” πŸ₯΄πŸ€―

In '68 some Danish roofer the size of Paul Bunyan gives me a book on about every conspiracy theory that comprise your core beliefs.

In'72 in the Army in Virginia I worked weekends for my neighbor who owned a roofing company, he was the supreme commander of the local KKK and believed every conspiracy story that came out in the KKK's very own "Fiery Cross" monthly newspaper.

After that introduction to "Roofers", when somebody claimed to be a roofer, I backed away slowly then ran for it. 😳🀣

I'm starting to believe there's a lot more to you than what I'm reading on this forum. πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈ πŸ˜‰

That's not a HAM radio you goofy roofer, it's a small battery powered tracker that communicates with a network --- it's total output power is friggin 100 Milliwatts (.01 watt) ---- A damned Walkie Talkie is 2 Watts, so 200 times more powerful and they can normally only transmit a couple of miles with perfect elevation.
Do you really think they communicate 250,000 miles from a space capsule to Houston or Australian ground stations, with antennas larger than your house, with that low of output wattage ???? I had a 1,000 watt linear amp on my CB radio and I one talked to the Falkland Islands. (Please don't tell the FCC !!! ).
