Use to much energy to say no they didn't? Noted.
It's the explaining of why a cashiers check isn't instant money over and over that is wearing me out.
Dave - What all have you learned this past week?
Quick question, did Kurt get paid?

Don't know about other banks, but when I buy a cashiers check from my Federal Credit Union they make damn sure I understand when I leave the bank that check is as good as cash. If I lose it, I'm out that money. No stop payment. No recourse. When buyers are skeptical, I give them the phone number to the credit union and that resolves any questions.

Is this guy Tim an RDP member? I haven't heard it mentioned.
I wonder if he's following these threads "gathering evidence"?
Hey Tim, if you're reading along, life can be a bitch when your shit turns runny. Learn to live right and things will tighten up for ya. Also it might be a good time to consider a new career path, you're running out of bridges to burn.
Not sure down there but in Canada a certified check is only certified that the funds are in the account when the check is certified. The account holder can take out the money and the check can be nsf. A cashiers check is from the bank to the person that it is being made out to and the money is removed from the account when it is written. It is guarenteed funds just like a money order.Better ask again... They verify funds before issuing but if the one who had check issued goes in and says it was lost for $20-30 depending on bank it will be cancelled. Had it happen to me by a CraigsList Buyer that Owned Top Tier construction out of Sun valley CA. I have the title to the truck after ford sued me he most likely sent the truck to mexico along with others from what I hear.

Iam not leaving town over this ! This boat sold on the 10 th July . I had clear title work from seller , I got a call from an unknown person stating their was another vested owner that was not listed on the title. On the 18 th of this month I got a release of interest . The customer wanted only a direct deposit which I refused to do . ( no paper trail ) The wire did post in time today . I will meet with him Monday and a cashiers check will be issued. My only goal at this point is to make him whole and get this behind me.
Tim
Ocm
So you are saying the Wire transfer for the total amount owed to the seller of this boat is posted and in his account as of right now????????????????????????????????????????????????
Great:thumbup: Why did it take this long for you to do what should have been done the day the boat was sold????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Sorry again ! Typo ! The wire DID NOT post by 1 today . Canceled it and will meet with him Monday

You can intercept a package and have it sent back to "sender".
If he hasn't received the package, I would think that's what has happened?
At this point, I'm glad Rdp made aware of an issue and helped two guys get over $100,000.00 two thumps up.
I mean that's no chump change.
If Tim made Kurt whole I would return the contents, no reason to fuck with this clown anymore. HOWEVER I would take my sweet time sending the OE FEDEX envelope back.
