Dave - really? You can't post that and then leave everyone hanging. Glad Kurt got his money and now please tell us what this clown sent out...???? It's only fair after reading 84,000 pages of BS....:D:p:D

Someone needs to find kurt on the water and take a picture of the envelope, if it was received to ease our hearts! :)

I'd love to know as well, but I think at this point it is up to Kurt if he wants to share. I hope he does later today after enjoying a day on the boat.

My guess is a title for something, as collateral for payment.

You mean sort of like pooled up assets as in Collateralized debt obligation or Collateralized Loan Obligation?

After some thought it's fairly obvious what it is.

How sad he feels the need to do that.

So I heard a rumor around town today that OCM was going to change their slogan.

OCM - We put the CON in CON-signment!

Not sure if it's true or not ?\_(ツ)_/? Juuuust sayin.

Also there was another guy in there on Monday that came to pick up his boat that had been on consignment there for a long time. An older four winns boat. The guy walked the lot and did not see his boat anywhere, he told him that he had two hours to produce his boat. Tim said you can come back in two hours and I will have it ready to hook up for you. The guy called two hours later and there was no boat there to be found still, so he returned with the police. They went to a hidden office upstairs to discuss something and basically what happened was he had sold the boat about six months ago and never told the guy and obviously never paid him, as usual. Who knows if the guy will ever get paid.

I do consignments all the time, and I don't ever ask somebody for titles until I have a check in my hand for their boat. This just really pisses me off that somebody shady like this is even in our town!

Oh man, this is just not good. I wonder how many more share this same story that aren't on here.

The rent on the OCM facility has to pretty expensive, I don't know lease rates there but I'm guessing at least 10-15 k a month. You have to be selling to make it.

Again I keep reading and wonder why this guy has not been physically hurt I am not sure if I was there and my boat sold and no money in my hand that I wouldn't want to get my money back in another form of payment.

Which means. If you can't walk or talk that you can't rip off anymore people [emoji107][emoji107][emoji202]

Rolling around in that stupid looking truck with OCM plastered down the side for the world to see..... Just goes to show you that he's either arrogant as fu@k and thinks this whole shitstorm will blow over and nobody really knows about him and his antics....or, he's as dumb as a sack of hammers and doesn't realize what a tool he's been. Either way, screw him.

Who knows, maybe that sled is loaded down with "Everything he owns" and him and his accomplice are kicking rocks and looking for a new place to live.

Go on, git! :D

Tim was ordered to turn over his financial records this month in court. The newspaper reported this story that Tim's Lawyer has withdrawn from the case. Once can speculate why, but why bother.. At this point that whole program is just circling the drain.

I feel bad for those that he owes money too, because it would certainly seem the end is near. (Shit has got to be pretty bad, when your own lawyer tells ya he's done)

"But stressed it wasn't over a boat sale - like the other suits have been."

How many suits do you think it would take a NORMAL person to recognize that maybe they weren't doing something right here.....

I imagine the attorney quit because he wasn't getting paid.

Lawyers typically get paid whether they win or lose, they are there to present a case, or at least represent the client.

I will gladly pay you Tuesday for filing this motion today...

He states that he's waiting for a pending suit in another state to pay off, rather than paying out of his own pocket .

This shows the "Peter to pay Paul" activity so many here brought up .

This whole thing is sad . I wish no one harm, and everyone is made whole, before it comes to another 'turn' in the road .

The 'west coast boat business' has always been 'turbulent waters', but few ever have taken their customers 'this far offshore' in the past .

We are all buddy's, we all like power boating, but when it comes to 'goods and services', everyone needs to have everything written down on a contract or an invoice, up front . No exceptions to this rule .

Please learn from the stories we all read here . Personally investigate the business, get your questions answered, get everything in writing, don't be a dick and raise you voice for any reason, you won't need to argue if you know your involvement, up front in writing .

If you can't get positive results in a calm and reasonable manner, hire a blood thirsty shark, go to court ......

I wonder if the attorney quit because he was being paid through the scam. How does attorney client privilege works in this scenario? Let's say Tim says ya I sell boats and then pay my bills (or fuel my boat, pay for plane tickets to Hawaii, etc) then try to sell another boat to pay the first guy. So then he sells a boat and uses the profits (customers money) to pay his attorney. Does the attorney have to quit on spot because he knowingly is being paid with funds that aren't rightfully his?

It could be something like that.

When I was reading it I couldn't help but think what a great stall tactic to try and get more money. It was the end of the road but somehow Tim was able to again find a way, with the attorneys help or maybe not.

Taken this afternoon.... "Off to go on vacation with all the money I made off selling boats!"

It's hard to believe this "piece of garbage" is still in Havasu and he has the nerve to roll around Town in that truck with OCM plastered all over the side of it.
I wonder if he actually owns that 5th Wheel, if it's on Consignment or if it's a rental like the House he lives in??
His days running OCM (Oregon Con Man) have to be numbered, it's hard to believe anyone has left their boats there for him to try and sell!!

His days in Havasu may be numbered, but I have a feeling that people like this will simply move to a new location and repeat.

It a great location. Hopefully OCM goes bye bye and another vendor steps up so the location can be used.

Same thing came to my mind, Atty says "if I quit you can get more time to round up another peter".....:rolleyes
