A former employee of the National Republican Senate Committee did some digging into the campaign finances of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, only to find some shady dealings that are raising eyebrows.

Ocasio-Cortez's Chief of Staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, was heavily involved in the socialist congresswoman's campaign. He owns a PAC called Brand New Congress, and an associated Limited Liability Company (LLC) by the same name. This is not particularly unusual, but some of the payments transferred between the company, the PAC, and Ocasio-Cortez's campaign appear to be less than ethical.

"Like other candidates, AOC paid Brand New Congress LLC for strategic consulting, in her case totaling $18,880.14," wrote Luke Thompson on Medium. "Unlike in the other cases, Brand New Congress PAC turned around and paid her boyfriend as a 'marketing consultant.'"

Thompson used publicly available Federal Election Commission documents to source his report.

"Indeed, while Brand New Congress PAC's ten largest expenditures were paid to Brand New Congress LLC for 'strategic consulting,' a sum that totaled $261,165.20 over the course of the campaign, its eleventh and twelfth largest expenditures were paid to Riley Roberts," the report said.

Roberts has been described by Ocasio-Cortez as her "partner."

No they don't. The press does which is bad enough. But from what I can tell she's treated somewhat as a crank inside the party. Honestly I don't think she has any staying power. The press will grow bored with her over time because unless she keeps coming up with more and more outlandish ideas, she will get stale.

The 2018 elections saw most of the far-left candidates lose, save for places like Occasinal-Cortex's districts. Someone said they couldn't believe a candidate is running for President on a bona-fide socialist platform, Bernie did the same thing in 2016 and look where it got him.

2020 is still a long ways away, but if the Democrats keep it up, they'll look like the Republicans in 2012 with deep division in the party. Outside of a few population centers these socialist ideas just don't hold water. Like it or not, fly-over country still has a lot to say on the direction of this country.

I agree to a point. The issue is in the numbers. We got this new loon plus 2 muslims who have shown they support the ME mentality. Add them to the other loons like Water and Hank, and eventually their like will grow to have effects the nation does not need.

To me that is the scary part of the situation.

Now what I heard is that it did indeed tip one time, and dumped some doofy Puerto Rican childbitch into the seas and she drifted and drifted for years, eventually washing up on Coney Island. She was taken in by street folks that dressed her up and snuck her into a crib in a apartment. The thankful couple signed her up for liberal classes at some big U.
