Lets look at another example, College Education. About a decade ago (after 50+ years of programs like the GI Bill and such), "we" decided to make college affordable for everyone. The federal gov't opened up the money spigot, which would make college affordable for everyone. Today, 10 years later, post secondary education is more expensive than ever and costs are skyrocketing.

Why?

Because the gov't is able to print more money and ignore its debt. College's, being run by smart people, realize that all they have to do is ask for more and the gov't will simply give it to them.

And now we have congress wanting to take over all of the post secondary education system. Where is the money going to come from? That's easy, just print more of it. As the programs get larger, they bloat and cost more money. Lather rinse repeate.

The way to efficiency isn't through any government run program.

FACT: The majority of today's bureaucratic paper/data shuffle s a direct result of the ACA's money distribution networks, and remains a bi-product of the insurance industry that we must continue to deal with today, thus driving up the cost of health insurance. And you actually believe this bureaucratic "monster" that's driving up consumer costs will decline if the Gov would take control and facilitate distributing funds for the entire health system.

Hell, the Gov spent over $2B on an ACA enrollment website that private sector could have build for a fraction of that cost and to top it all off.... the site never functioned properly

I am not really sure how many on here don't say and do things just for affect...a la Grads. I don't think he takes her hook, line and sinker but likes to maybe stink it in just a bit to see what kind of reaction they can get. You can be sure that the next Dem president is going to do things a lot more radical and a lot more quickly. After 4 years of a radical a lot of moderates will change parties...the problem is the pain the rest of us will have to endure in order for that to happen.

Very close friends of my wife and myself died in a car accident and left three kids twenty plus years ago. His sister fought for custody, a real blood bath that was, she was a staunch libturd and quite well connected in the Dimowit party here in Cali. When she was granted custody we were at a little celebration of same, her and I in a conversation and she got a hilarious look on her face and says "Oh My God! There is no way these kids are going to a public school!" (LAUSD). I laughed and said looks like the puppy has opened it's eyes.

She now detests libturds

Maybe Rod has a chance? Hopefully it doesn't take a horrendous crime perpetrated on a loved one by a criminal invader.
