Exactly, CEO and high level execs in big companies usually have people. Highly trained people.
Makes you wonder if maybe he just thought he didn’t need security.

CEO of a $100b company has no personal security? That's not normal. A CEO of that caliber would have full-time security.
I have been around my CEO of my company many times. Depending on the stock price 120-140B company. Never has he had security with him. I bet that will change going forward.

Didn't realize it was CEO hunting season.. Some of these folks might want to be careful. Their grand paychecks and taking away from the minions might have finally reached a tipping point. Why does any CEO need to make multiple millions ( I don't know what he made) while the benefits get cut and more is demanded from the workers for less.
According to a yahoo finance article he made 10.2 million last year. That’s not even close to the top 100 in CEO pay.

You would think if he had any credible threats or fears he would’ve had security. Obviously someone was really pissed off at him.🙁

Disgruntled family member of a claimant that was denied coverage and died?

Sort of my first guess.

I had to call them on behalf of an elderly neighbor. To say it was the most unbelievably bad experience would be putting it lightly and I muscle through Obamacare

I'm going with something in his personal life got him killed. Could be business or because he was head of UHC, but how many CEO's are gunned down in a target hit? Can't be many. Considering this was outside a hotel and not a publicly disclosed meeting location (such as the location of the investor meeting). Who was privy to his travel schedule or specifically his stay at that hotel?
He arrived at the hotel for a planned and publicized annual meeting of investors. He wasn't staying there.

The Hilton Hotel was hosting the UnitedHealthcare annual investors meeting, and police said Thompson had been in town from Minnesota since Monday and was staying across the street.

One has to wonder why the fuck he lived in Minnesota making that kind of coin. I didn't think anyone did that on purpose

I stand corrected.

Shooter was expecting the malfunction and knew how to clear it.
Hard to say if he was expecting it or just prepared if it were to happen. Sure seems if it was a pro hit they would have made sure their subsonic ammo choice would cycle the gun. Wasted a bunch of time hand cycling it

I think it would be pretty common for most any C- suite executive to be investigated for insider trading.

Or the guy is uber pro, and pretending to have issues to redirect searches his way... misdirection while still doing the job needed.

I think the silencer was messing with the pressure, forcing it to be a single action. Also looks like it jammed.
I thought the same thing, Ruger .22 with a suppressor.

Ruger .22 will cycle fine with most .22. Or as good as .22s do. They only reason it wouldn't especially multiple times is if they were running really slow fps ammo. Which would be ultra quite. To the point of as lound as the sound of a zippo lighter

Again, he knew someone or something with a big name and involved big dollars. This isn’t some vigilante family member, the average joe that’s going to carry this out isn’t this sophisticated on knowledge of where he’d be and when, or have the wherewithal to be able to escape into thin air.

Anyone who thinks organized crime doesn’t exist at this level is foolish.

I know, I own both. Ruger .22 and suppressor. We are all just making guesses mine is as good as yours...

Especially by the ridiculously partisan and anti-business Biden SEC. January 20 is the date Biden's out of control SEC, FTC, FCC, EPA, DOJ, DOE, and every other federal three letter acronym agencies will be brought to heel. Rational leaders and policies will replace the fucktards now running the circus.

Trump's job on Day One...an executive order that dismantles all DEI cancer in the federal government and military.

Pretty much, it happens on the regular.

It wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't a dry run for a bigger target. Could be he was just the intended hit just to see what happens afterwards.

I’ve stayed at the midtown Hilton quite a few times, always enjoyed it. Very busy area and someone could easily disappear into the crowd of NYC from there in any direction. I’d wager there are several thousand people every city block right there, that space is vertically integrated. Hell they could have popped the guy out on the side walk and then just walked in to the bar and grabbed a drink.

I’m sure he pissed someone off and he won’t be doing that again. I’ll bet his position has already been filled. 🤷‍♂️

No way the shooter is a pro. His first shot from 5' away hit the victim in the leg. Judging by his marksmanship skills this guy might be a LEO. 😆

5 bucks says the shooter was training for this watching movies and Netflix.

How much sway does this company have, and how much did they make on covid? Was this guy in the know at the time, and did he talk to someone? Maybe a reach, but maybe not. This dropped on Monday, and hasn't been talked about much...proof of lies, and destruction of evidence from Fauci down.

CEO of RDP better hire Hammer and Nord for Security Protocol!

And @GRADS for the interrogations

People theorize it was quieter to cycle it manually

I read that its a Station 6 9. Kind of resembles it in video. Professional hit if so.

Odd looking backpack.
I wonder if there's some significance of this in his plan?
