Was the bottom mods way beyond repair or were the expectations and goals with big power just unrealistic?

Is it the straight bottom 27 that runs hard with big power?

Sucks because that is an amazing looking boat!!

I was scrolling through my IG last night and saw that GT posted some update pics.

That's exactly why I brought this up.. Beautiful boat, was just wondering what was going on..

I haven't talked to the owner in sometime, but I heard that GT was forced to take the boat back, Owner got his $$ back, and now they are going to put a mild motor in it (525'ish?) and sell it to another buddy of mine. The boat will be fine with a mild motor, just won't work for big top end speeds.

One of the pics I saw on IG was the boat with a 525 being installed. I was 2nd guessing myself as to whether it was the same boat or not.... Guess I'm not loosing it [emoji106][emoji4]

Not sure the bottom was ever modified like I was originally told. Either way it will be fine with mild power but that isn't a big power big boat.
