oh man i was excited but now i cant wait to see what goes in this building! Two streets over from Potts.
Where’s the update, They should be close to hanging beams and trusses by nowAnd away to the dump goes the concrete slabs.
Plus a little clean up on the tilt panels. View attachment 1113479 View attachment 1113480 View attachment 1113481
Had to go to Reno for the day. Some of us work for a living.Where’s the update, They should be close to hanging beams and trusses by now
Crane for roof I-Beams as they are 81 feet wide and are placed at 29'6".Looks like fun. Those going to be set by the grade-all? Are you running the project or do you have a GC that is doing it all? I have a few questions If it is you.
Sky Lites or roof ac units openings?
YES!Anyone else counting the $$$$ in these pictures
The panels? Looks like they left one end open so they could get the crane in the building to lift the beams.Lifting twice?
Big expense for that, fly in from outside or have a 12 x 14 OH door and that hydro would drive out??The panels? Looks like they left one end open so they could get the crane in the building to lift the beams.
See post #96Curious if you went with beams instead of joist cause of lead times? Part of a couple projects where they have made the switch in design because of it.
Also curious like the others what is going inside
Oh damn, sad part is I read that post too …haha.See post #96
my guess it went to recycler but not enough to recycle on site?Did they pour the dead mans deep enough so they can be buried or are they gonna have to be removed? Did that casting slab really go to the dump or did it get recycled into aggregate base?
amazing the load those bolt plates take in the middle of those beamsSee post #96
See post 65.Lifting twice?
Hopefully the one inside will be buried under 4 inches AB and then the 8 inch slab. That is what we planned but if the crane cracks it up, out it goes.Did they pour the dead mans deep enough so they can be buried or are they gonna have to be removed? Did that casting slab really go to the dump or did it get recycled into aggregate base?
AC units. The entire building is climate controlled with AC.Sky Lites or roof ac units openings?
You're killing me smalls!!!See post 65.
You're killing me smalls!!!
Some other type of construction (all glass?)
free span no columns,
Mezz in the rear I am guessing
I see the 2 OH doors the larger one you said
I edited the post you responded to with more "guessing" on the OH doors
Rack Storage
That has a 74 foot wide door and a floor and staging area rated for 100,000 pounds? The large bolt templates accomodate the two large columns at the open end.
What needs a 29' tall shed roof
Marco! Those are my customers. Great crane guys

Any more progress pics. Should be getting dark inside.. Time for the fire sprinklers and other MEP trades..That has a 74 foot wide door and a floor and staging area rated for 100,000 pounds?
As others have suggested, a hangar. Or shed as they are known in other places. No blimps however.
Let’s see how it comes together. We’re moving to interior construction.
