...I am 99% sure that this is one of the 3 Checkers I bought from a pharmaceutical company for $200 each...They had been delivery cars...Stumbled on them entirely by accident somewhere in the inland empire???...Sold them to my boss at CBS...as I really didn’t want to be in the picture car rental business...I had them all(I think all???)...painted yellow and had all the taxi stuff installed
(Non operational except for the lighted Taxi signs on the roofs)...We used them in many movies for TV...My boss would occasionally rent them out to various production companies...He didn’t really want to be in the picture car rental business either so he sold them...Shortly thereafter the TV series Taxi went on the air and low and behold what showed up...early style Checker Cabs(non energy absorbing bumpers)...Pretty sure they were the same cars as there hadn’t been any other faux Checker Cabs available in the industry up to that point...
...Had I kept the cars and gotten the rental money for the length of time Taxi was on the air...I wouldn’t be buying my water skis at thrift stores...

EASY PEASY!!! WW and the Dixie Dance Kings. I saw that movie probably 20 years ago, but remember that car. I think that's a 55 Olds. I'm not too up on my Oldsmobiles. hahaha.
