Afternoon gents. Been semi-offline for the past couple weeks. Just got back to home base a little while ago. Been a fun two weeks. First week was spent down in the Orlando area for a convention and a little sun and pool relaxation. This past week has been spent in the Columbus, Georgia area visiting my cousin. He booked us a night hunt to hunt wild pigs, and it was not only a lunar new moon, so darker than the ace of spades, but also the coldest night of the entire winter down there at 27 degrees. Turned out to be a decent night to hunt though, as my cousin saw a few and got a shot at one, while I didn’t have much activity throughout the night, but daybreak brought a small group with a nice 140 pound boar in for a clean head shot and some nice meat for the freezer.

Full relaxation mode while the Mrs enjoyed the pool.

The mighty hunter with his game. Sat all night in a damn tree stand to get my only chance at a pig after daybreak. I’m still soar from sitting.

Didn’t give me a good angle for a shot. He was facing away from me, and lifted his head to sniff the air, so I shot him in the top of the head. Didn’t ruin any meat that way, though.

And a Bammm.

Welcome home! Nice to see someone posting whiter legs than mine...:D

Glad you got some R&R in there, hunt looks fun too.

When we were in FL last week for the Mrs birthday, she’d never had Yuengling before, she’s pretty much a Leinies drinker (colleged in Eau Claire) and she loved it! She had more of them than me :)

I’m sure I’ll see you at the HulaHut or Hula HQ 2.0 real soon.

I’m sure we will run into each other at Hula something or the tother. We were in FL from Tuesday, 26 Feb through Sunday 3 March, then headed to GA until yesterday morning. Took two days to drive home. I hadn’t had a yuengling in years until last week. It’s decent stuff, so had to bring some home. That and Sean was bitchin that it was my turn to buy again. (He’s kinda right.)

Looks like the epicenter is around Waterloo, IA. My buddy is crewing at the snocross and the baro is at 95 kPa, it’s 97.4 here now but wind is howling in opposite direction as storm approach.

Good friends of ours are building down there and I mentioned these pictures... And this is their place!

The dock house that’s up already belongs to Harry Rusbridge from Palm Beach, the lot next to our that’s currently being built, don’t know who owns it, but I think they have a couple ocean front lots just down the road.

Who does he crew for? I hung up my wrenches around 2001.

Several different classes, does data acquisition and clutching.

I used to build drag racing engines and crew for him in the late 80’s/early 90’s when I worked at PSI, then I was crew chief for MGD sled drag team 92-94.

Mornin from the great white north.

It’s been a nice weekend with all three daughters in the house.

The ladies cooked up chicken parmigiana and a sopapilla desert, and we hauled it over to the in-laws and had a family meal, all in the middle of a snowstorm. I’m pretty fortunate to have four women in the house that like to cook.

Youngest is making homemade cinnamon rolls this AM, made the dough last night when we got home at 10.

I think I’d better get all the clocks moved ahead. Well, except that one way up high in the living room that I never got around to!:D

My girls are bouncing off the walls... This crappy weather every weekend is giving us all cabin fever.

But at least we have another useful hour of daylight today...

By cheating!:D They’re actually like bars made in a pan. You can google it and see it, but here’s the explanation I got:

Apparently Pillsbury sells the cans of dough for the crescent rolls without perforation, so they lay a layer of that in a greased 9” x 13” glass dish, then 2 cups of cream cheese with vanilla and sugar, another layer of dough, topped with butter, cinnamon and sugar. Bake and eat!

Anyone have a recommendation for a decent binocular?
Not looking for anything super expensive.
2-3 hundred bucks. Want something to keep next to the patio door.

Vortex diamondbacks are quality for the price IMO.

Out of my grandma's church cookbook. Make 'em little or big. If you poke the dough and fry it you can make Navajo Tacos since it won't puff up. It also makes good pizza dough.

PSI. Now that’s a blast from the past. The only person I know in snow cross anymore is Judnick.

A buddy from town travels all over setting up the courses. Then his teen age daughter’s race. I believe his oldest daughter retired.

I finally got my garage back today, after Irma hit in Sept 2017 a good friend and local gym owner lost the roof to the gym. With no where to go with equipment I let him store it in our garage, the last piece was moved out Thursday so I spend the weekend cleaning and organizing. Both cars and golf cart are under roof away from the salt spray:)

Now that I have a stove again, I think I'll cruise on over to Frank's for the Sunday meat raffle. Sign said 430ish. :D

You’re going to be like my friend Bubba over in Sheboygan; he stops in the bar next to his house in his jammies for a nightcap, you’ll be like Norm from Cheers:p

They have land for an ocean front build as well as the dock build pictured. They were happy to see your pictures since they couldn’t get shit from the contractor as far as visual updates. So Thanks!

Howdy boys. Had a great weekend, looking forward to having light on my drive home from work.

Going to get back to wiring in the StressEliminator this week. Time to finish making the 5-year project seaworthy. Words cannot describe how excited I am to dial that thing in!

Make it a great day, fellers.
