Is there a speed control on that mixer? It is airrating the mud is why you're getting the air pockets. If not turn the mixer off, let it set for a few minutes then fold it with a paddle before pouring. Will come out much smoother with less air pockets.. jmo

Is there a speed control on that mixer? It is airrating the mud is why you're getting the air pockets. If not turn the mixer off, let it set for a few minutes then fold it with a paddle before pouring. Will come out much smoother with less air pockets.. jmo

Would dumping it into the form out of 5 gallon buckets have any affect on this?

I worked it pretty good and was a little disappointed, but at least I can fix it.

Yes, only I couldn't find it at HD or Lowe's locally - I used the Pro 5000 stuff without the fiberglass and added a little portland cement to each bag. If it was in a kitchen, I would have looked harder to find the countertop specific stuff.

Just need a spot to set stuff on. Think I'm about $50 all in on this set up in materials.

Well, they found some breast cancer in my doggie. Confident they removed it all, but she now has a pretty large incision. Shes doing well, but none too happy about the recovery.

I was thinking that the other day as I was pouring concrete with a supplier that he posted about when he poured at the trailer manufacturer a few weeks ago. I like to think he is focusing his priorities on those closest to him.
