I've got another hayburner wagon showing up at 0800 tomorrow morning. With any luck, all the parts will be in stock, and itll roll out the door by 1700.....

Gotta pull 4 wheels, inspect the hubs, brakes, seals, etc, then seal up a bunch of hail damage holes on the roof.
Might be a few other tidbits, but I'll talk with the owner about all that stuff in the a.m.

Dual axle gooseneck "exiss" wagon. It isnt as nice as the 4 stars I've been wrenching on, but still...

Was 5 or 6 years ago, while on my way down to madison, (for what reason I'd go down there for is beyond me.)... The "oscar meyer wiener mobile" was wadded up in the ditch. Driver ran out of talent in a "dusting" of the white shit. (Its almost october, and I refuse to say that 4 letter word just yet).....

Not as far along as I’d like with the stereo install on the Ranger. Plan to build the speaker boxes tonight and finish up the wiring tomorrow. Got the plate built for the over head mount, and the amp mounted.

Checked in with Doc on knee surgery yesterday. Told him I never used my crutches and told him the things I’d been doing. He cancelled the rest of my PT. Said I was doing fine on my own.

Also put a bid in on this little gem. Silent auction. Hopefully I can get my hands on it.

There's all kinds of little mom and pop meat markets all over cheeseland. They make beef sticks, jerky, landjeagers, and hawk 'em at gas stations, liquor stores, etc.

Its a miniature version of summer sausage.

Depends on where in the state you are. There is a division between beer and wine sales vs liquor sales. I've heard that we have some of the tighter restrictions of licensing in the country.

Well, the story is my uncle (mom’s brother) passed away last Christmas in western Oklahoma. My mom and other uncle don’t travel all that much, and a trailer of my deceased uncle was holding what was left of his effects. I volunteered to help retrieve these items, but no one could tell me how much stuff there really was.

I figured we’d fit whatever was worth taking in the Menard’s enclosed trailer kit I designed for the car trailer sitting in my yard owned by @Headless hula

I think cousin Eddie would approve, what say you?

This is the uncle that started my path to being a motorhead at age 4 when he let me shift 4-speed cars, and let me hang out with him for all things automotive and agricultural. Lots of car shows, truck and tractor pulls, and drag races were attended by me because he took the time to include me, and explain what was going on how things worked. This trip was just a tick of giving back for me for a lifetime of helping me out with mechanical and personal stuff. Obviously some of his humor rubbed off on me too

We met with the bank president that was a tremendous help to us in getting things settled for my other uncle’s estate from over a thousand miles away, and he gave us the ashes of the cremation. The least we could do was buy him supper, so after we strategically loaded everything into the trailer, we met him at the Mexican restaurant and swapped stories and got to know him a little bit. Without his help, all of this would have been more difficult, and his generosity of his time and resources really helped us out.

Since we were near the historic Route 66, we had to take a moment to cruise a chunk of the hallowed highway with the ashes of my deceased uncle on board. Too bad the 3 of us couldn’t have been chasing each other in our muscle cars, but I felt pretty good that we took the time to do that.

I’d like to take a moment and thank @Headless hula for letting me use his trailer, and for him taking the time to get it in the Hula Trailer Hut and go through the bearings so we could have peace of mind on our 2200 mile journey. I’ve got enough other stuff preoccupying my mind, and I’m happy to say the trailer wasn’t one of them.
