I sent her the link. Have to wait till she's off work to see if it's something shes interested in.

Thanks man!

The cool thing is they are completely removable and if you need it on a tractor for summer you can set it up and leave it. Need it for a snow machine in winter, unbolt it and attached it to your snow machine. No drilling required for most apps.

I will likely end up grabbing another one at some point.

Could have used that when I was heating my house with wood. Tree guys use a similar setup, just a bigger scabbard.

Yeah, he told me the mold to have different sized scabbards made was an insane cost, something like 10 or 20k. I've slept since then but it was expensive. He has them all set up to fit a 20" bar - If you are smaller, no big deal. If you at longer, just cut the end out. When his sales increase to a point that makes it worth it, I expect him to spend the coin to make it fit different sized bars.

What did y'all do with triple b?

Been busy getting the double wide squared away so we can list it for sale. On a side note I’ve asked RDP for a Midwest section, hopefully he can come thru for us
Also looks like the drive north will be Thursday or Friday takeoff, plus driving with Ellie will require stops and a night in a hotel

Poptart asked me to come to a meeting she has scheduled with WPS. They're burying natural gas by her and her moms place. She'll need to replace her gas cooktop and built in oven. They're original to the house circa 1960ish? There wont be a conversion kit available to go from l.p..... her water heater and forced air furnace are new enough that those wont be an issue.

I think I have her convinced to go with an electric double oven vs a gas model.

I see a snowball growing over there. She wants to remodel her kitchen and open up a few walls. Yikes.....:eek:

We’re going to miss you neighbor. You’ve been a wealth of good Keys info the past 5 years in our conversations. I do pay attention. If you guys ever feel nostalgic you are always welcome to stay in our single wide. :p

Electric for the ovens, agreed, much more consistent.. but NG for the cooktop, water heater and furnace.

Most older model appliances still have "jets (like a carburetor) " for LP and are the same style as they have been for a long time. So I would look into it if she has appliances that might be able to be converted, especially the furnace! Jmo

What did she think about the SawHaul?

Had a friend die of cancer last night. Got a phone call around 8:30 informing me.

My brother’s wife (31 years old) has been having liver issues for a few months, and they put her in ICU last night with kidney failure.

2019 sucks. Hug your loved ones.

Ready for wheels up to get back home.

Dropped 1 dead oak. Probably 18-20" at the base. Shell burn anything at least an inch and a half around, so there sure isn't much brush left.

Lucky wants to go for a boat ride. Fuel pump has been acting up. Replaced a few goodies.

It woke up for a few seconds, then shit the bed again. Had to lay on the bow to get it on plane.

I ran up to Menards and picked up some grout and a new lawn mower, since the grocery store is in the same parking lot I swing through there and picked up some brats too. Going to be a gorgeous day to cook on the grill.

In other news, the channel is 44' wide.

Contemplating a steel bridge that'll clear pontoon traffic......:D

Just tossed the battery in the jet bote. Cranked right up. Might have to throw some go juice in that and see how bad the leak is.

Waited most of the day for the temps to come up some, the foggy drizzle to stop, and things to dry up a little so I could work on the pontoon. Soon as I got started on it the rain started again.
