So has anybody tried this stuff?

I tried it, and it kicked ass on my fenders.. LOL Boat went back to the river before I could use it on the wheels etc.. but I'm doing to do them this weekend and take pics. :)

I will also use it on a battery box I have here to clean it up for sale etc.

Galvanized steel?

RD
Yeah I know it probably sounds kinda dumb, but I'm using quite a bit of galvanized steel corrugated roofing and sheet aluminum as cabinet doors and possibly some as wainscoting in my garage remodel project. Right now the panels are shiny and new looking, but it would be cool to know I could bring the shine back in a few years when they start to oxidize. Needles to say I've never had a reason to polish roofing material before.:D... At this point, I'm going to order some anyway to try on the bikes and boats, etc. I guess I'll try a scrap piece and see what happens.

First off, this stuff works, but it is a lot of work!! Its not that its any harder to use than anything else, but once you start using it, you'll wanna get every nook and crany! With mothers, i would just glance over the wheels, this stuff makes you wanna get everything you can, cause it does such a good job! It took awhile to get the wheels this nice, but it was totally worth my time. Now to see how long this shine lasts, right now it looks totally kics ass!!! :D

And btw, these are forged wheels. It aint easy to get em to shine, and this stuff got it done fairly easy.

Green then the Yellow. If you look close, you can see a lot of crap inside/between the spokes. It took me awhile to get all that junk outa there (baked on brake dust and that sorta stuf). Plus, if you look hard, you can see i never really cleaned inside the spokes at all! So that took a bit of doing with the green. I used the carpet patch on the big sections.

Once that was done, i worked in the yellow everywhere. Since there was a lot of corossion/water spots, it took a bit of work to get those out too, but honestly, not half as much as mothers woulda took. Actually, i dont think mothers woulda done it! It jus doesnt work like your product.

Buffing it out wasnt too bad. I only did the first wheel, and my daughter did the other two! (shes only 10, so that gives ya all an idea how easy this stuff is to use, she did a very nice job!) I kinna ran outa time on sunday, so i have one more wheel left to do.

Now that the wheels are clean, it will be a LOT easier in the future for sure. Great product. Well worth the money I spent!!

I'm open to any suggestions. Many thanks!!

You have to get the rag wet before you use the green stuff! It makes it go 10 times farther, and works MUCH EASIER...

I still haven't tried the yellow stuff. I used the green, and then the pink.. I thought the yellow was just a top wax for it, to keep em polished?

Well I received my shipment today. 5 Bottles of stuff.

IMG00757.jpg

Here is the reason for the purchase. The pictures are from my phone so they are not quality. These Alcoa's on my Class C motor home have not seen a real polish in 3 years. No time and no desire. Nothing lasts.

IMG00754.jpg

So I started with the Standard Metal Cleaner. It says to wear gloves. Yep...should have. :D

This brightened the wheels instantly. I did not use the carpet piece but a sponge instead. I'm a rebel.

Next was the Polishing Gel - Two applications. A bunch of black on the micro fiber. This was the working end of the kit for sure.

Third the Liquid Metal Polish - Not much time spent here

Fourth the Top Wax. - Real quick ans easy at this point.

Total time (one wheel) was about a 1/2 hour. I went around the lugs best I could. It's not perfect but does look great.

I would easily recommend this to anyone and will be buying more.

Nice this is better than Christmas. :thumbsup

I have to admit I am a bit skeered of that Heavy Duty Cleaner.;)

I going to try the mild on a small section of my yellowing fiberglass. :thumbsup

That shit seems to good be true....can't believe that diamond plate....I did some steps with a powerball months and felt like lots of work, and ok results but that metal wax seems unreal.

heres a couple pics of what I've used the Metal Wax on,

The money clip had never seen any type of polish and has been used for the past 4 years maybe 1 min spent on the clip

The Cav plate also had not seen any type of treatment any many many years as it sat sadly outside for about 3 years at a shop, plus how ever long it sat untreated before I got it 5 min at the most was spent on that portion of the cav plate its just too bad it wont get rid of the scratches and pitting

Banner looks great!

There is some confusion on how to use the product..

Do you use green, then pink, then yellow?

I noticed the 1st kit was green then yellow. I thought the pink was the actual polish? And the yellow was a kind of "clarifyer?"

Metal Wax did wonders for my buddy's classic car. It's amazing what a few minutes and some elbow grease can do. :thumbsup

Green then yellow. Thats the way the instructions read. The pink is just for a quick once over, once you have everything cleaned up and polished.

Me thinks they should post that instruction sheet in a PDF file on there site. Jus sayin... :D

Before, After and After again, last is the rear bumper showing the difference between "soap and water clean & metalwax cleaner clean" (not polished yet).
I spent 3 hours doing the horizontal surfaces of the fire truck
