It's probably one of Dave's resellers.. I wouldn't go posting about the discounts here, or he's gonna have to yank them.

RD

I didn't, was just looking on YouTube to see if there was a video of how they work to show a buddy and stumbled across it

So what is "The Boxxman" ?? The Renegade RG6 is on youtube posted by these people, seems to have no relation to where we are buying them here?

Same thing different seller, or ??

The Boxxmen is one of my top resellers and has also just recently just officially join Team Renegade. So if you call our support lines or use the Chat Now feature you just might get Jeff Jones, who btw has made all the renegade videos that can be found on youtube. Jeff can also be found on the facebook Renegade Support Group giving support.

Is this good enough or pay $10 for unlimited data and 20mb upload??

These boxes are more than a Nvidia box. Whats the reason? Support to load apps or what am I missing as it seems these are basically a firestick on steroids without the buffering?

I would go with the unlimited and at 200 mbps, should not have any problems streaming at all.

Yup, get the one with unlimited data. I can see using 400-500MB per month if you watch several shows a week and a few movies.

This box comes with addons that normally require subscriptions, ones that allow you to watch live TV, and just about any sporting event you can think of. Between IPTV Evolution, Sports Access, and Dragon Streams, that's like $250 worth of yearly subscriptions. You can get all these addons on a Shield, or any other Android box, but you'll be paying for subscriptions. As long as you get over a year out of it, you're ahead money compared to buying the subscriptions. On top of that with the setup wizard, there's no headaches setting everything up. If you like watching sports, buy one.

Can u get this in Australia?
We only got 1 cable company and they suck and we're paying $120 a month for it.
Only problem is I think we're running at 7mb download, like they can put man on the moon be we can't get fast internet.
How early does you get shows because all the misses is worried about is getting Game of Thrones.

7 is gonna be tough Jimmy.. Even streaming SD streams it's gonna buffer. That said there's ways to do it, but it isn't going to be drama free like we are using them.

Mid year I think our Estate's get a upgrade which would get us somewhere around 25mb-40mb unlimited.
It'll be a done deal if that happens.

And can u get AFL? Because Foxtel have the broadcast rights over here.

For the people that can't get fiber but their neighbors or close friends can just setup a Wireless network bridge and share the fixed line internet plan and go halves in the bill. I've seen ones that are good for 7 mile.

Kids stuff isn't a problem. Their's apps with kids "stations" like you are asking for.. You kind of have to get used to the idea that this is next level though and you don't watch it like TV on a "station." For the most part you pick a program or show. Click season, click episode, click server and it's playing. So if their show is "Duck Tales" you'd find that, click it, and you can watch episode 1 of 1 up until the season closer and everything in between.

I use to use Channel Up for regular tv until they added Real Stream. Just scroll down and select the network and it comes on automatically. Awesome setup when wanting to watch tv like cable or satellite. Never had an issue with channel unavailable like on Channel Up.

I don't know why anybody would want to watch live tv. I have two or three channel up subscriptions and have used one on one tv once.. lol. I'd rather just stream the content commercial free

At some point it will he illegal in the states too Vic.. I can tel you it has already lasted way longer than I thought it would have. It's simple math though once it costs the big cable companies enough money they will lobby to change the laws. There is nobody on the kodi side of things that's going to step up to fight for it. All the "open source" guys that do all the programming are geeks living in their parents house.. and they absolutely despise the guys like Spencer and Dave and people like them that are making money.. but if you add up all the Daves and Spencer's out there not one of them makes the kinda money that will be enough to take on the giants.

If I had to guess, I'm going to say the guys selling the boxes on the open market will eventually get served like they did when hacking DTV and Dish went down.
There were plenty of people that folded and sent cash to avoid being prosecuted. It's a game of cat and mouse.

Not for about 10 years. We used to program the dtv cards, then went to dish and we had to start messing with internals on receivers. What a pita

Dave you're hilarious, you are absolutely right about not making enough money to take on the big dogs. Lol.. However, from what we are hearing after all the recent news floating about. Its not the Government is going to try and control this, it will come from the Networks themselves, slapping cease and desist injunctions on every company that is inducing copywrite infringement on their websites. This is already happening right now. Paypal is freezing accounts left and right to anyone selling android boxes through Amazon or personal sites and paying through Paypal.

Websites that are blatantly displaying movie and TV show thumbnails, Network logos like ESPN, UFC, HBO Boxing, FS1 as well as sports clips of NBA, NFL, MLB, will be the first to be sued by the networks. Those who are trying to stay within the parameters of the law with regards to their website being tailored right , not selling preloaded Kodi builds, and not voicing what your box capabilities are over live chats, will be much harder to take down.

The governments hands are tied based on the current laws that state "what is considered to be viewing pirated content is a download". A stream is transient and leaves no digital fingerprint on a PC or android box and therefore because of lack of actual evidence it is non prosecute able. Also there is actually no way for them to determine if someone is actually streaming from Kodi vs a Roku box, Amazon fire stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Google play, Netflix, Hulu or any other streaming device. Why? Because all the ISP can see is their customer is streaming something in Kilobytes that's it, not downloading in gigabytes.

If the Gov does decide to attempt to make Kodi Illegal, it will only be a scare tactic because it will be virtually an impossible task to police. And also keep in mind Kodi is an open sourced platform that anyone can grab a copy and make their own build. Its like we launch the biggest virus ever into the world that can't be stopped. Impossible..

ISPs can only see one thing that you are streaming. They can't see what you are streaming or what device you are streaming from. All streaming devices like Roku, Chrome Cast and Amazon Fire Sticks that are used to stream Netflix and Hulu all share the same algorithm to the ISP. Streaming plays in Kilobytes and downloading takes Gigabytes that's how your ISP can tell you are downloading. All your ISP really cares about is downloading because 1 movie takes aprox 2 gigabytes of real-time data that you are taking from your ISP. They don't like that because they pay for their data usage.

Hey Jimmy, I have a reseller in Perth Australia, so if you need anything let me know and you can save $50 in shipping costs. Also we just added MXAustralia on the wizard as a request by my reseller Gav Trotter. Its getting some live Foxtel channels.

As I have said many times, every box on the market including the Nvidia Shield all share one commonality, they all get the same stuff. That's why we refer to them as paid addons. Tell me a free addon that the Shield gets that streams UFC fights in full HD Quality or Sunday Tick or NBA Pass or NHL Center Ice or MLB Dugout. No one gets our programming nor can they steal it from us. Also our proprietary firmware and wizard is 20 levels above every android box on the market. Proven over and over, one else compares.

That is the difference between the Nvidia Shield and Renegade!

It's a lost cause. Words have fallen on deaf ears. These "magic boxes" are not worth what their being sold for. Anyone could buy a better faster box on buydig with the latest os and upload their own shit for a fraction of the cost but ignorance is bliss. One thing is for damn sure though, I would not take any tech advice from a "boating" website claiming to know what they think they know about technology. But dave clearly has some skin in the game and that's why I stopped replying. Can't help people that don't want to help themselves.

waffles, I'm not getting paid for this at all. There's no skin in the game.. For general watching tv and movies i'm sure you are right. As I have said a hundred times and you just keep repeating yourself ignoring it.. For ease of use, and you push the button and it works, the magic box wins out over anything else I have seen..

To me that makes it worth the $$. You can keep saying it's a rip, but you are some kodi guy all up to date with the latest and greatest shit.. I don't have time to learn all that stuff nor do i care too. I push the button and it works. UFC. push the button and it works. I can't do that with all the firesticks etc i have around here. I can't even update my firesticks or know how to make old icons go away and put new ones on the home pages.. magic box if it needs to it does all that shit for you.

This is a prime example of someone that doesnt know what thieir selling. Theres no such thing as premium channels. For the millionth time. Kodi and it's sources have been and will always been open sourced. They all share the same repos. The only difference is, those paying are paying for sources that don't get flooded with users which is why they get "bufferless" streaming. The reality is, it's all snake oil. I get 275 mbps on an old desktop and have no issue streaming ANYTHING. But I digress....

You keep saying that.. but Dave keeps saying the opposite?

You have dragon streams? and you can play HD UFC fights with no drama?

You have to have some skin in the game letting some guy advertise(read sell) for a service or product on your site. I'm sure you wouldn't let this shit slide with another user trying to advertise / sell a product for free. And I dont claim to be a kodi guy. It's not rocket science where you need a coding degree to get this shit running. It's about educating the average Joe. Isnt that what your site is about? Educating users on subject foreign to them?
