well,.... lets just sweep this little set back under the rug with 911 and all the other little set backs and pretend it didn't happen..

after all, we live where it is easier to be a mass murder terriost than a ball licking pit bull lap dog....

easier to possess an apartment full of bombs and AR's and ammo than a pistol for protection..

lets just forget it happened.....that way we aren't looking at whats really going on..:thumbsup;)

lol... the lady has a pump horn from a bike that when it goes off.... our shop runs out there....

I have never tried them yet,...but my boys rave about them...

They usually have butter as well. No on the mayo as it is not in a cooler. Butter chili pepper and cheese with a lime squeezed over it..... Happy Holidays Steve!

That's crazy. I can't imagine a food truck in a parking lot. We just don't have that type of thing around here.
Shit, we don't even have ice cream trucks.

Not really a food truck but more a shopping cart with ice chests in it being pushed by old mexican ladies in a 7-11 parking lot.[emoji631]

the little mexican ladies have corn on the cob wagons here:D

Slathered in mayonnaise and chili powder!

On corn on the cob????

I thought the Canadians were the only ones the drowned everything in mayo.
Sounds nasty. I'll stick to butter and pepper...

Since everyone was talking about it, figured I'd get myself one yesterday!! :D:thumbsup

FBI is looking at a suspicious $28,500 deposit a couple of weeks prior to the rampage that went into the male shooters bank account. He was drawing it out in $5 and 10K increments and giving to his mother.

Well, it kinda does.

In California there will be little to nothing done to this subject for his possible involvement in this massacre. So instead of dragging this crap on for the next two years, wasting valuable tax dollars on housing, nurturing and possibly defending this POS and wasting the courts time with motion after motion whose sole purpose is to delay the inevitable. Just take care of business.

It's obvious nobody will EVER be able to reason with anyone resembling an extremist......so why waist time spinning your wheels?

Do I think we should institute something like "Martial Law?" Probably not but our current judicial system DOES NOT WORK.

Just my .02.

I don't understand your post.

At minimum, unless the guns were reported stolen BEFORE, or soon AFTER, the crime occurred....a straw purchase charge is quite likely.

It's OK I don't understand my rants half the time either! :D

I just don't see them doing anything with someone who reportedly sold firearms to a subject who later used them in a crime. And I'm even less enthusiastic about them pursuing any form of criminal charges because if the transaction was done legally, then there would be a release of liability attached correct?

Does buying your kid a 20 gauge or 10/22 for their first gun count as a straw purchase? I think the answer is yes, but wanted to hear it from an expert.

As far as I saw, there was no reported sale and they were registered to him.

Best Answer: Federal law says that you can purchase a firearm and give it to anyone that you want, as long as it is legal for that person to own the firearm. When you purchase a firearm as a gift, you are the actual purchaser. It says so on the ATF web site. It is illegal for you to purchase a firearm for the purpose of selling it to someone. What you and your father was proposing to Walmart was illegal if you were going to give him money for the gun. If he was actually going to give you the gun, it would have been legal. There is no minimum age to own a long gun according to Federal law. Some states may have laws that differ. In the state that I live in, there is no minimum age to own a long gun and no duty to prevent minors from accessing long guns. There is also no minimum age to own a vehicle in the state that I live in and my son purchased a pickup of his own when he was 17. No one else's name is even on the title. I have been purchasing and giving long guns to my oldest son since he was 10. The last one, I did was when he was 17. He went into the gun shop by himself and found out that they did not have the particular model in stock. He negotiated a price for the gun that was about 20 percent below list price. A couple of days later, I called them to verify the price and had them order it. When they called and said that they had received it, we went to the gun shop and checked out the rifle. We took it over to the other counter to pay for it. When I had purchased it, I gifted it to my son while it was on the counter and he carried it out of the store.

From the responses.....

Federal law provides that you can buy a firearm as a gift to an immeidiat family member. You do, however, have to check the box that this firearm is actually for you.

Federal law also provides stiff penaltites for buying a firearm for someone is not an immediate relative. This is what the check box is trying to fix.

Thank you Brian, that is refreshing to know we can still carry on our American Heritage! :thumbsup

I would do some due diligence in AZ and ATF, but it sounds as if gifting one to immediate family member, as long as they are NOT prohibited to own a gun, is fine.

They can't pay you for it, then it sounds as if it is considered a straw purchase.

I thought that it was perfectly legal to buy a gun (long gun, not handgun), take possession of it, decide that you don't like / want it, and sell it though a private party transaction with no "term of ownership" requirements? Am I missing something?

True but you better believe in a situation such as this that they are going to investigate the intent of the purchase and basically find out that what you are saying isn't the case.

Lastly, in California a private party transaction must be conducted in the presence of an FFL who will run a background on the buyer and then hold the fun for 10 days.

Investigators are tracking the destination of a $10,000 cash withdrawal of the $28,500 Farook had deposited earlier and whether Farook used it to reimburse Enrique Marquez who bought the two assault rifles in 2011 and 2012 legally.
Should get interesting.

Meanwhile we all know Marquez has checked himself into a mental hospital.

I'm guessing the 28.5K came from ISIS oil money. Don't be surprised when they arrest Marquez for conspiracy to commit murder whenever he gets out of the mental hospital. Too bad he wasn't in the SUV with those 2 goat humpers. He knew what was going down, and didn't say shit.

i have a question.... or thought if you will...would these people be so willing to die and get eternal fame if
they were not reconized on the media.....

i mean if lets say, no pics of them... other than there face down dead bodies..... and no names...

just maybe... two terriosts where eliminated by authorities...

i personaly think we should be more remembering those who lost their life.... than those that took their lives..

and also the play by play on the news needs to stop... I think It fuels the others to do more of the same to get the moment of ever lasting fame......the climax to all their planning is to know that they will be remembered as someone that died for what they believed...

news.......two dead....not worth mentioning their ID....

i've seen a couple articals about a couple of the victims thats lost their life.....but most remain unknown....

I'm pretty sure they were watching what the responcse was on their phones.... and also seeing where the cops were...

I think that they should be able to film ..... but not broad cast till it's over...that had to be a herion high to them seeing the distruction they did, and also the immeditate www. fame as the shooters....those that believe in what they did were cheering them on ...and as they watched .....thinking they should do the same..the media makes them important.... and remembered....take that away...... take away where others can't see or hear about them....don't give them the eterninal fame

2FF, I totally agree. Less time on the shooter and more time on the victims. In the school shooter case and many others it was directly related to Metal Illness. I think the rules of "Privacy" should be changed. If the guy or girl are that bat shit crazy, they shouldn't be allowed to purchase a gun or have access to one. How we would enforce that, I have no idea. But it needs to happen, somehow. Now in the case of the San Bernardino shooters, I truly believe the "Muslim Ideology" (notice I did not use the word religion) is the root of the problem. We need to secure our boarders then figure out a way to root these fuckers out. On a side note, I really do not know how all of you guys live in Cali. That state is beautiful but my god it is SO FUCKED UP!!! The politicians in that state need to be burned at the stake! :finger They have managed to take away so many rights, and it seems no one can stop them??? :grumble: God bless you guys for being able to tolerate the discrimination you put up with for being a gun owning, gas burning, flag waving AMERICAN in California....

I don't think it's plausible that the mom didn't have some notion of what was going on. I'm sure she claimed to know nothing and would lie to the cops anyway. In their culture lying is considered a virtue. They're decietful by nature and probably can't see what all the hubbub is about. I think it's even doubtful, that in Pakistan where the POS wife came from, 14 people getting mowed down in a hail of bullets would even make the evening news. To them, this is just another battleground.
