I'm glad the flight worked out and hope the kiddo gets the care needed. I'm sure the parents are overwhelmed with concern.
Is that Autumn Paul?My daughter works at Phx Children’s hospital in the ER. She’s a PA and will most likely see her if she’s on duty.
Is that Autumn Paul?
With it being a child, it seems most times they head to Phoenix Children's. It may also depend on the illness or injury. With adults, they may "call ahead" to see who has an open OR or who is not already slammed from other events.Prayers to you you got a wonder why they don’t fly to Las Vegas. It’s 93° here as I speak no wind clear skies and I think the flight time is 20 minutes from Havasu.. maybe a hospital issue?
It more has to do with bed availability and insurance. Sunrise in Vegas will accept all patients as long as they have available beds and the specialty services needed are availablePrayers to you you got a wonder why they don’t fly to Las Vegas. Geez, that’s something and looks like you, congrat’s.Madison
My wife is a staff member at HRM… She has not shared anything with me but obviously is aware of it.. My heart aches for the family, as a father of a young girl things like this really bother me to my core. May this sweet angel of the lord find rest. If there is a GFM for her burial please post it...we will donate. The baby girl ended up passing away about an hour and fifteen minutes after she landed at PCH. I really have no info outside of that and it isn't the time to ask.
I wanted to thank everyone who reached out to friends and family members. You might have been the one that got her to PCH with at least fighting chance. The forum has helped me with a lot of situations and this is at the top of the list. I can't thank everyone enough.
I'm not sure that I need to say this but please keep any critical or hurtful comments to yourself. The family are long time members of our boating/Havasu community. Please make sure that they feel supported by what they read here.
RIP little girl!
I kept checking back to this thread hoping for a positive update!
Makes me think twice about taking my 5 month old out there and he's been quite a few times this year.4 months old. So fuckin sad.
