Lake Powell - Fun Run 2018!

Great thread! Stop at Mama Burger in Flagstaff on the way home, burgers, fries, shakes everything is homemade and amazing.

Mama B's is great if you are looking for something pretty quick. If you have time to stop for a full meal hit up Lumberyard Brewing company, Fratelli's Pizza, Diablo Burger, or Salsa Brava (was on Diners, Drive ins, and Drives with Guy Fieri)

I went to college at NAU and really miss the cool local restaurants that we would always go to. Too many chains in PHX

Met up with some fellow boaters in the hotel lobby. I ran out of smokes, the girl from the front desk volunteered to drive us to get them and take us all to a local bar.

Long story short, had a blast.. there was a ski shot. Then there was a lot of shots don’t remember much after that. Some bouncer guy didn’t like the cut of my jib or something.. I got the boot.

Powell is a true boater's paradise ... headed up to the Challenge again in September ...

This is Antelope Canyon ... it's a "no wake" area now ... was lucky enough to capture this in 2016 ...

I truly dont want to hear any crybabies bitching about a 5.5 hr tow or even a 11 hr tow to Powell. We got an incredible invite from Sean Robert's for 4th of July and we are gonna tow 15+ hours to spend 3+ days on my favorite place on earth=Powell

Can’t wait to have you up there this year Rob. I understand the towing. I’m running 3-4 trips to Parker to get all the boats ready. Bring the Lavey back on Monday so I can drop it at Teague for service. I’m glad I leave the wave runners at Powell. It used to be 2 boat and the wave runner trailer going up. Now it’s just the 2 boats. I hope we see more RDP up there June 28th- July 12-13 lol.

Glad you are enjoying Lake Powell!! Antelope Point is our home marina and it is truly amazing. I couldn't make the fun run this year (had a blast last year) but we will be there for the fall Challenge for sure.

I have a video of me doing the same thing in 14. To bad it is no wake now. I need to go, back soon maybe next year. I first went there when the lake was filling up the first time.

I have been to Lake Powell many times but the last time we took our jet ski and went past Dangling Rope. Had a great time and stayed in a nice hotel. We also went in the winter on a Jeep trip which was great. Keep the pics coming Dave!

I live 3 hours from the ramp ant Wahweap. I leave home about 4 in the morning get to the lake, ride up to the bridge and then fish our way back to the ramp...........home that night. Long day but very doable

I recommend hopping on a half day boat tour if you have time to see some of the lake. God's country.

We are coming back for sure Billdo. The Hallett is a great powell boat. Small enough to tow, holds enough fuel we can run anywhere we want, etc..

The area from Page east to the Rockies is one of my favorite on the entire planet. Powell is extra special, lots of good memories from there. Looks like you all had a blast!

Generalizations are wrong, including the one I just made. But, Lake Powell is the best boating in our country. Agree with Gramps, houseboating on Powell with tag a long boats and PWCs is best. Enjoying your reports.
