if we think helping IDF right now is expense.......think about this.......

Iran has been a destabilizing regime for nearly 50 years....going all the way back to the oil embargos of the 70's.

i would love to see someone put some sort of price tag on what we have spent in the mideast "trying to keep the peace" (what that really means is keep cheap oil flowing). the reality is a few billion now for IDF to find lay the smack down on not just Hamas but IRAN........will save ludicrous amounts of money and bloodshed down the road.

Imagine if we spent the same amount of money that we've spent in the Middle East over the last 40 years, here in our own country. Oil exploration in the Gulf of Mexico, Texas, the Dakotas, etc. We would have put ourselves at the top of the food chain in the oil industry, with an emphasis on exportation. This could have been done without putting us in a position where we as a country are forced to meddle in other countries affairs. I wonder how life would be for us today, if we had never stepped foot in the Middle East.... 🤷

I wonder how it would be if we just took their oil back in the day and let them live the lives they previously lived without 95% of the money..

You aren’t going to do jack crap to those people. They said it when we invaded Afghanistan.

“We’ll be here when you arrive and we’ll be here when you leave.”

Well son of a bitch………

House Republicans on Thursday passed their version of a $14.3 billion aid package for Israel, which apparently needs the money in its war with Hamas. The bill proposes to make an equivalent $14.3 billion cut to IRS funding in order to offset the expense.

The SCUM in the Senate is having no part of the cuts to the IRS, no chance of passing................... 🤣

For thousands of years they were throwing rocks at each other until we discovered the black gold under their shacks. Let's give them modern weapons..........

How very true. Generations lived with whatever Shah or Shiek ruled the area. Their power was purely birthright, but only over their own subjects or those that crossed their borders. In the modern Era, power is derived from money. The many conquerors for years gave money in exchange for oil and control. In 100 years they went from camels to platinum plated pasta rockets.

Funny, that’s how every successful business makes financial decisions. US.GOV not so much.
Hope they cut the funding all together

Something is cooking.
The amount of military and government vehicles at ViaSat today was insane.

My buddy who works the POTUS flights and other classified flights could not even get away to play volleyball at lunch. Said he is on call and the ViaSat hotel rooms for his team is up and running.

I have a buddy that works at ViaSat. He is former military but can never really say what he does there.

All my buddy says is he makes sure the government flights have internet 24/7. His team requires government clearance and are all ex military.

I know more but that is all I am going to say. I interviewed for their Head of Internal Audit and I was going to need government clearance. Easier for ex military to get the needed clearance.

Ya got Shia and ya got Sunni.
Shia power is birthright, Sunni it’s different.
On the strength of that they kill each other.

When they ain’t killing each other they pick on the Jews and that will never change either.

Only 3 Leo’s with 9’s and maybe 2 lightly armed, unprepared citizen/reservist when Hamas invaded is the head scratcher.
WTF?

This is one of the reasons we should have left Saddam in power. He was a great counter to Iran and their majority Shia population. Saddam was a Sunni, which were minorities in Iraq, but he was able to control the Shia population with an iron fist. Iran not having to worry about a hostile Iraq on it's border leaves them more money to spread terrorism elsewhere.

Some reports coming out with some pics about American armor being moved from Iraq into northern Syria. Convoy of 50 or so, tanks on flatbeds.

We are just going to drive it in and leave it there for our enemies to pick up and use against us or Israel. How else can the industrial war machine keep the war going but supply both sides.

Tell me thats not staged.
We’ll hold a protest when Joe isn’t home.
You know....it is starting to look like this is the deal. Smells like Antifa stuff but....

With all those people coming across the border we have a BIG fucking problem.

I am hearing storage places around the country are filled with weapons....just waiting for the UN to come in....

Crazy times......

Anyone that thinks Israel is lobbing bombs to kill woman and children needs to see this photo. That's a huge secondary explosion of stored munitions, caused by an airstrike. Right in the middle of Gaza City. Of the three aerial bombs dropped, one hits the jackpot. Surprised?

No. When Saddam died from old age, Uday, his violently sadistic son, would have taken over the country. For example, Uday raped a bride just after her wedding, and threw her off a hotel balcony, then had her husband killed. He had his sister's husbands murdered.

For more examples of his depravity, read this. It was published after he was killed by American forces in Iraq.

I have no doubt Uday would have killed his younger brother Qusay to establish himself as the absolute ruler of Iraq.

I know all about that. I fought in that sandbox during the first war. We could have taken Baghdad unopposed after we finished off the republican Guard. An opposition to Iran would be better than what we have today.

There is a very disturbing movie on him, based on a true story. The scene of the bride is what I always think about whenever I think about Saddam or his sons. In the movie, she killed herself, but he could have just as easily tossed her over also. The movie is The Devil's Double. It's told from his body double's perspective. Uday was an absolute monster.

Some interesting parallels in history...Vlad II was considered to be a harsh ruler, but we all have heard of Vlad III. The worst of the worst, and played both sides of the Ottomans to stay in power...Religions were a way to rally support, divide the people and justify murders of everyone.

Watch his mouth as he’s “singing”. It’s obviously altered.

Besides, the bullshit meter was pegged, immediately, without seeing the video. Common sense, man, common sense.

Yesterday afternoon, Israel's MOD made a big speech on the TV, warning the Hezbollah secretary general ,
"we are not interested in getting into a war in the north, but we are ready for any task."
He then went on to say "If Nasrallah makes a mistake, he will seal the fate of Lebanon."
(Nasarallah is the secretary general)

Well, major air strikes in Lebanon this morning...not the little artillery strikes we'd seen the past few weeks. For not wanting a war to the north, seems they just made sure that door was opened all the way. Not that we didn't see Lebanon entering the fray, just thought it may happen a bit differently.

Me too and had to get program clearance for some things. Took me a long time to get it because of my fucked up brother. Spent a lot of time at NIS in San Diego being interviewed and investigated.

… They interviewed my parents, my friends parents, the people that I lived with… girfriendd…Fortunately, it was before marijuana had come on the scene and we were just youthful legal beer drinkers…😇

I’m calling bullshit.
It was at a Jewish Holocaust event held in 2021 in Germany. Sung by a Israeli-American US Army soldier. If you notice there's an Israeli flag behind his left shoulder. As a vet I didn't find it disturbing, likewise another event where the US Navy band played it honoring a mid-90year old holocaust survivor.
Guess RM's handlers felt it horrifying ? 🤷‍♂️

Oh yeah they interviewed all of them too. They mainly wanted to know how much contact I had with my brother. He was a pretty big drug dealer back then. I hadn’t seen or talk to him in years, but they wanted to confirm.

“Our best interest”, the problem is we (the general public) will never be told enough facts to actually know what “our best interest“ really is.
Politicians and their cohorts (media) have evolved into an industry that only does what feeds their power and enhances their control.

There are and always will be wars that need to be fought to protect American interests but we “rely” on politicians and the media to tell us and they have proven time and time again they cannot be trusted.

Simply put the Middle East is full of barbarians and to try and apply civility to them will always eventually fail. The only thing that works, and only for a while without reminding them, is brute force and submission.

The total fail is when we think we will “educate and civilize them” and then they can live in some kind of imagined harmony.
We (U.S. citizens) fail to recognize just how blessed we are to have a culture that was founded on and then refined to include the value of all human life. We have been working away from that for sometime however and the consequences will be devastating to our posterity. We are a blessed nation but we count it a common thing.

My concern right now, due to the state of our politics, is only for our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines that they not be sacrificed cheaply.

I would trade any politician and all politicians for the life of one red blooded American boy or girl that willfully enlisted to defend this country.

This is exactly what should have happened once they had a chance to civilize and did not.
