Look at that beautiful weather backed up for miles. Just a Sat in Temecula area.
Shouldn’t take me 30min to go 8miles just to get plate lunch.

I think everyone means on the road, not your back yard…. Haha
Yeah I know. I just can’t believe people still complain about traffic. It’s like nobody has GPS or thinks about when it might not be a good time to be on the road. But I still say shit it’s hot out here every time I get out of the motorhome in Parker in the summer. So there’s that.

Stereo typing AZ as just dessert is just like stereo typing all of CA as SF or LA
Grew up near LA...thank God it was nothing like SF. I remember thinking AZ was just Bullhead and Phoenix. In the late 90's I traveled for car shows, drove coast to coast. Flagstaff and Phoenix are a world apart, like St Louis and Springfield, Lots of neat places in this country.

The last week has been a bit hot in my part of Long Beach, and I just paid my $480 electric bill, but it’s still better here than anyplace else else I’ve been to. I have a business here, but it’s only me…no employees…it’s not so bad. Maybe I just have a better accountant than some of you…dunno.

Sitting out back enjoying a beverage before bed, a balmy 74 degrees currently. No gunshots or fireworks tonight…yet…lol.

Go to riverside it hits over 100 degrees in mid summer pretty hot. I'm in the area of the 91 and Adam's a lot during the week. I was talking to a riverside police officer a few years ago and asked him does it get hot like this usually he said every summer.

Been hot the last few days. But still have not had to run the AC this year. Just open a few windows and turn on the fan.

CA is a desert, if you were poor like me and lived in the IE there is not much adjustment needed to live in AZ, now the guys who live in OC or SD, that’s a big adjustment. I was just at my old neighbors house in Corona last weekend and it was the same exact temp as our house in AZ 101.

It's blazing hot today. Sweating my ass off. Got guys digging 200+ ft of trench for sewer, water and electric mains. View attachment 1417560
Always rough on the boss man...sitting in the truck with the AC 🤣

Doing the roofing thing, 72 on the ground was great...it meant the deck was only 90ish. 100° and over days? Yep, they sucked.

Only there for a few to shoot the pipe with a transit and drop off more pipe. Now I am dripping sweat running abs vent pipes through the roof. Breeze has picked up though and it's cooling down. Headed to grab lunch. Got to finish running some water lines. Sewer camera inspection at 4. Pin hole leak job at 6-615. Then back to my project house until 10. Easy days Lol.

Expect the low in corona is 63 tonight and it’s 87 in mesa.

Yup, you can definitely tell the difference at night. During they day not so much.

What I have been telling people is if you walk outside at 12:00PM it’s the same, if you walk outside at 12:00AM you can tell the difference.

As others have said, if/when you leave CA, try to keep a CA footprint. Just got back from a street fair in Lafayette, CO in 98 degree heat. The wife quips, “we ain’t ever selling that Hermosa Beach joint.”
