Must been no traffic lol. I drove Laguna hills to sd daily I usually left by 5:40 and straight through in about an hr. If I left after 6 was 1:20.

From old house in fullerton I had to roll out by 5.20. Otherwise it was a 2 hr drive easily. Usually began backing up in Carlsbad

I had to be down there by 7 am for first job. Then off to 3-4 more after. Some days you’re lucky if leave late. But had routes set up to avoid traffic start south work way north.

Im in so cal this week for work and mostly 405/101 area and I ain’t out by 12 it’s 2 hrs to Laguna niguel. But only 1 hr drive leaving at 5:10. I hate traffic so leave early to avoid it. Just hope I can get back early enough to make a 4:30 t time at tijeras next week.

Haven’t set one yet hopin for wed might just be a single player gotta see how work goes. Probably try for wed. I saw price drops to 60 bucks after 430 or so. That’s like local summer cost at home in phx🤣

That is definitely a head scratcher for me. The beach people always talk about the weather being great.

At 7-8am everyday, it's beautiful and sunny in Corona.

If you drive down the the beach at noon, it's still overcast like 50% of the time.

I'll take the inland heat to avoid the months of Seattle weather 😁

No off roading allowed in Texas! WTF is up with that shit!?!?!

In CA we have thousands of choices to head off into the mountains and deserts.

And all kinds of legit MC tracks.

And then let's not forget about the sand...

I haven’t said anything about yore lives, just facts of CA living. I just posted pics yesterday of me boating while you all were commuting to work in high rises 😉.

10 minute drive to sit in the middle of the sand hollow lake all by yourself in a $1,200 seadoo boat, rocking back and forth from the wake surf boat on the left….. really seems like the big move was worth it after all and I’m glad you’re happy!


Maybe Matt’s off-road recovery will hire you and you can do the boat recoveries in your seadoo boat 😂

That was one of the reasons I left Torrance. Overcast til 11-12. Burn off to roll back in around 330-4. even on a beach bike ride in July you brought a sweatshirt

Loved Calif when I was a kid. My dad, my brother and I made these surfboards and stuck the decals on them. Notice the wetsuits. Duck tails. Had them made at Cal Aquatics in Woodland Hills right around 1963. Before that we were bareback.
That's me on the left. I still have that board.

Man, we are having a nice, cool summer here in Ventura County… I think I turned on the AC twice so far this summer as we approach August. Waiting for the heat, maybe it won’t come.. Gotta love the weather here… No complaints.
