If you and I agreed to remodel your house for $130K and btw I need the money up front to buy materials. But hey you can trust me so we don’t need a contract or I don’t want to sign it because you want me to do this work so badly you agree anyway and I take the money and do not perform the work, what legal recourse do you have? Or flip it around and I was dumb enough not to sign a contract and you don’t pay me. I have recourse through a lien against your property, but it’s weak at best and I likely won’t be whole.
Bottom line you don’t do buisiness without contracts, and contracts have to be executed to be valid or you may as well wipe your ass with it. And before you try this, a NDA is a contract.
