the first guy was on point, the rest of those guys were a bit late to the game. Sledder was lucky not to drown. This is NOT a hobby to get into that lacks risk...every part of it can kill you 6 different ways and twice on Sunday. I own a pack/transponder because I'm afraid of slides...but I have a cutoff point in the year for a similar reason...while there has been some great snowfall close to me as of late...the stuff under it is mush/soft/melted...and that creates pockets/voids/rivers that you can easily slip into in an instant... I wanted to go bad this weekend...especially with what I'm going through health wise...but I said no...it simply wasn't worth the risk.This just came across my feed. Holy crap!!

One of the best places would be up where we go in WA, easy access from hotels...absolutely beautiful scenery, and the whole Leavenworth WA Christmas shit show...(which is actually a lot of fun). Joe the owner of 59'er diner outside of town owns one of the local rental companies, I know him pretty well. He also does tours, and a night ride that we've tagged along on that goes around the mountain surrounding lake Wenatchee, with a full moon, the view is honestly epic. You can rent in MT, UT etc.. but id look up https://www.leavenworthsnowmobilerentals.com. He keeps a fresh fleet of Skidoo's and a couple high end fast sleds for those he knows have experience...
