What do you want to know specifically? Like @Racey said, better handling, better ride, they are quick on plane, way better in rough water.

Bud designed the 27 to be a twin sbc powered boat with 125 gallon fuel capacity. Perfect big lake family boat. Back then not many people went far up Mead or Powell so twins were key. Danny Churchill bought one and rigged it up as a single. Nick sees it works, it costs less so they offer them. As we know just because something works does not mean it is the best way. The normal boater is terrified by twin engine boats.

Invited a bunch of guys from work for a River trip, and one of the guys brings a boat pink and teal? You brought a Barbie Boat to the River? Bagged on him all weekend, then he thinks his boat is fast, well anybody he tried on shut him down bad. The final was when he decided to try beat a stand up ski, the stand up was scary fast, blew the Barbie boat out of the water, he just kept swearing WTF is everybody down here fast! Yes we are!

And weight right... a second cast iron motor dragging back there. Plus everybody knows he wants to go to Catalina and twins are much safer in that regard ... nothing like breaking down in the channel with a super tanker headed at you.

Old bravos can run 600 hp no problem if they aren’t abused.. it doesn’t really need any extra rigging.
