funny how camera angle works....this rv makes my dick look big...it'll probably drag on the road when I stop for gas..

You might want to fold it in half.

I know you have plans for mods. Are the parts already ordered?

Nice layout. The bathroom doesn't have the SSS configuration (shit shower shave). No throne crapper in the middle of the shower...

What happened the the Thor with the super slide and King bed? I remember it was delivered with a roof issue, did you trade it already?
that was the 27b with the fold out bed, they took it back and gave me a 29m with the king size bed...we still have it.. took it out for a week up to Utah and too the coast

The 29M was the one we liked, that was a sweet layout

Does it even matter? You'd have to carry a balance / keep the vehicle more than 30 days to see a difference in rates

None of this shit is financed. Lol.

And if Steve enjoys buying every motorhome he’s ever wanted to own then more power to him! :D

I get a kick out of the reviews and know when I’m buying an rV I’m taking his ass with me!

Steve is a buying Mofo so he has what's called experience. That goes a long way. Most people buy high dollar stuff once in a while and have zero ideas on negotiating and making a deal. Steve's got a game plan on that.

I still wanna sell the coach toon and get one with more power.....or put a bigger motor on the coach, we really like the coach...it's just too slow...I think very best was 45 mph...45 mph to 55 mph on a toon seems to be a big difference...that and … the rear lounger deal,...takes up all the seating in the rear.....

here's what works for us,...both sofa's make into beds...and they're close enough to be sleeping together...but enough room to get up for a bathroom run...that way I can get up and head down the road while my wife is still sleeping...with 2 sofas, both can lay and watch tv.....with the dinette booth, it sticks out in to the hall way too much, and is harder to make down to a bed,and then only one lounge area for naps and tv watching..40'' tv is gonna be nice, and both can watch it while eating,,.

I actually finaced this rv....and here's why,...when you buy new,... they have to give you the MSO's....with out the MSO's.... you can't reg. the coach...I do it with mikethompson's… but it usually takes a week or two to get the MSO's..and when you take out of state delivery, you can't drive the coach in Cal for 90 days..if you get caught they impound the coach, and make you pay the cal tax ,and fines for both the dealer, and the owner..beings this is a very small rv lot, pretty sure they use flooring...when that happens,... they have to pay the flooring to get the MSO's... you could be months waiting on that to happen...lots of calls and frustration..so, I'm paying the tax in cal, and letting the finance company deal with perfecting title...then I can drive it the day I buy it...when you buy out of state, the one way, drive away, is only good to get it out of state..you take a chance of getting caught going from cal, to vegas, and on to az...some of you might have noticed the signs when you drive into a new state..." all unreg. vech must stop at check station...each state will want you to get a temp drive permit...I never stop,...but did get pulled over for it...got a stern warning,...so most of the time I just cross the bridge at bull head and go straight to mvd...anyway... it's more safe to just let the finance company deal with everything...then just pay it off after...it's kind of a free service, I just put 50 % down, and one easy payment..I don't usually do it this way because I usually have a big trade in...and don't wanna loose tax credit.....but ,.. my trade is not ready,...so I'll have to sell it my self...

I notice you always seem to go towards a class B instead of a class C, is it that you want the bigger entertainment center or don't like the bunk?

we're old,.. wife lets her dog sleep in the bed..too old to climb up and down the ladder,..that and the over head cuts about 3 mpg off the mileage..plus lots of wind noise....the b+ feels and drive like a van...this on is only 10' 5'' tall, so goes in at 12' door with ease..

in az and nv, you have to pay tax on anything bought from a deal, but, it only has to be paid once, where as California tax's the same rv over and over everytime it sells,...the tax credit is the amount of trade in, that amount is tax free..... so say they give you 80k for your trade.... and the new one is 120k.... you only pay tax on the 40k....so tax on 120k is about 9600, minus tax credit of $6400...tax amount is $3200.... so you save 6400,... or don't have to pay it twice...this is huge if you buy new rv's each year...that's why it's hard to sell an rv or boat private party... the same 80k trade in would be the same as 86,400.00 from a private party...make sense?

I think I gave it a fair good shot.... I drove the new ram for a year...hated it..out on the road, seeing people in rest stops is a good way to check out how un comfortable it is to try and get rest in a truck, and now with the toon,... we take more than 5 people to mead and havasu..our kids never ever traveled in a car... every trip was in our rv.… I had a 22'r for about 10 yrs...

thanks, guess we have to have 2...the 30'r is nice and roomy,.. the new one is a little crampy...but it does have a quick king size bed if needed...that and you could stuff 10 people in it and go to the lake...the bed ends up 72'' x 94'' or two 72'' by 44'' twin bed....reg twin size is 36'' wide I think..

Agree.....hate that long overhang behind the rear axle. When the manufactures put a body that’s way too long for the chassis. The owners gonna hate going up and down driveways........and towing......the hitch weight of 200 lbs is multiplied by every inch behind the rear axle.....put a heavy load on the hitch, your front wheels come off the ground.
AS YOU VERY WELL KNOW.....I DON'T SUGAR COAT TURDS AND SAY THEY ARE DONUTS JUST BECAUSE IT'S MINE!!!!!!A PIECE OF SHIT... IS STILL A PIECE OF SHIT, EVEN COVERED WITH POWDERED SUGAR...!!!@#$#@...YOUR POST IS SPOT ON, AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM SAY'N ….. YOU ARE RIGHT!!!....That said.....this coach is horrible...I've had these before..the problem....yes, the chassis size VS, the coach size...this coach was supposed to have a 158'' wheel base.....but measured with a tape...it's only 138'', and the full length of the coach is 255''...Is I was smart,... I would have walked from this coach......horrible...but... like said I've had these before....the fix is to shorten the front springs...I've probley fixed a 100 of these through the years...I think federal law...dot.. is coach can't be more than 50 % of wheel base... this one sides right under the bar at this one sides right under the bar @ 46%....so 255'' of coach means the WB has to be more than 127.5''...and it's at 138'' so within the limits of the law...but without the weight of the over head cab bed....there is not enough weight to balance the coach...and like said, these coach will probley to wheel stands taking off with a 7500 lb boat on back....

so, I admit...… I was wrong,..

so, with 50% being min. ,.. 60% is better...

here's how to check, and yes I did this before buy'n...but figured I could make work,... as I know how to fix it...

Here is what you need to do:

  1. Measure the entire length of the RV, including bumpers.
  2. Measure the distance from the center of the front tire to the center of the rear tire.
  3. Divide the length of the wheel distance by the length of the RV.
  4. Multiply that figure by 100.
For example, if your coach is 38 feet long and the distance between the center of its front and rear tires is 20 feet, you would

  1. Divide 20 by 38 to get .526.
  2. Multiply .526 by 100 to get your wheel base ratio which is 52.6.
Any figure above 50 is considered acceptable, but the higher the better. The rule of thumb from the RV industry is 60 or more to maximize highway driving safety.

So here's what I just did,.. I spent just south of 70k for a ruff riding , unstable, non towing, wind noise rattle trap that does wheelies when it hits bumps on the freeway....this coach in no way compares to the Lexington in my yard...the over head part is horrible...pretty sure there is no insulation above the cab.... the rattling and wind noise was terrible, so bad I had to hold my phone to be able to hear it ring... the ride to vegas was 55 mph.....white knuckle.....can I fix it.... yeah.....do I want to.... fuc no!!!...towing the same car with the 6.0 chevy, up and down hills quiet and with ease.... the ford...dropped to 3rd, fan roared like a mofo...got 7mpg, vs over 12mpg with the chevy workhorse....

Thanks for explaining that. I'm assuming this "one time taxed" only applies to YOU, that once the RV is traded, it re-sets for the next buyer.
Are boat purchase taxes calculated in a similar manner in AZ or NV ? How about if you trade the RV for a boat (Or visa-versa), does it 'Cross-Product' ?

Up date....I bought the rv from beach cities rv,...called them this morning....told gavin the issues...he said, I'm not gonna stick you with that coach if it's messed,. If you want... just bring it back....so that's what I did,...took a tire pressure gauge and checked the tire pressure..78lbs on fron...65 on rear....WOW that seems like a lot in front,.. and not enough on the rear... so I lowered it to 65 psi..all the way around...headed to station to fill up and head to cal......WOW... what a difference......stop and fill up, 10.8 mpg...so the first tank I was stuck out on the 91 and never got out of 1st and second...so now second thoughts.....call gavin,.. hey, I'm just gonna keep it...so headed to the shop.... shortened the front springs 2'' and headed out to get the rv weighed...went from 55mph white knuckled ,all over the road... to 80 mph, no hands on the wheel....with me in the coach....all tanks full, weighed 9880 lbs.....and front axel...3000lbs, rear 6880 lbs....so back in love again...

2FF, wife and love the Winnebago Minnie Winnie 26A. It should have a diesel option, but it does not.
There's an other class C we like the layout, it comes with the 3.0 PS diesel, Compass by Thor, which I'm not in favour of their [ Thor ] reputation. Do you have experience with either of these two. We've been toying with the idea trading our TT because of the issues finding suitable campsites for lengths over 35'. And the hassle to reserve a spot min 3 months in advance.:( Was going to Laguna Seca this month and was told I need reservation as early as December/January for August events.

My point was, most first time motorhome buyers want a big (long) home but don’t look at the wheel base or overhang.

When I was 18, working on a farm near Chico, the farmer sent me down to the feed store to pick up a pallet of corn seed in his old 2 ton Chevy stake side truck. The guy at the feed store fork lifted the pallet onto the very back of the empty truck bed.

Mindlessly, I drove off, shifted into second and the front wheels came off the ground. I had to keep tapping the brakes to steer and keep the front wheels on the ground. I got to a stop sign and I did a really hard stop and the pallet slipped up about 2 feet. Problem solved.

Learned my lesson. Put the load on the axle.
