Beautiful Job sir, the best thing is at a glance its so clean and then you start to see all your fabrication, I remember when you mocked up a transom in your shop, what a build!!!

What happened to the build thread on this? I remember progress from start to the install of all the stainless hardline.

I watched the original build thread and wondered what happened to it. So great to see it finished. Saw it on the water last week looked great. The hard line work is so unique and probably the coolest Schiada rigging I've seen. I saw this boat in its original state in the Water Ski Racing World Championship is Belgium in 1995. Quite the upgrade. Great work.

Really looks great, and the rigging is over the top. Nicely done. I know its been quite journey, it must feel pretty good to have it in the water. Your original thread was one of several that sent me down my personal rabbit hole.

I am going to appropriate your wiring schematic for my sled, so thanks!

What's the red LED in the steering wheel for?

Dutch
someone rewired it over in Europe and that was their wiring diagram
I thought it was a significant part of the ol girls history so I left there
Thats awesome! Seems like a lot of these old Schiada's have a story to tell, yours has travelled the world.

Sounds like it’s gotten some love man! I didn’t know you were a v-drive guy when I was out at your place in Parker. Did you ever finish your remodel?

My nieces love that damn lily pad btw! Thanks again!

Thx for the info! Are the carbs boost referenced or are the PV’s plugged. Thats alotta jet with Pv’s but you def have the cubic inches. 10/71?
I recently got a new 2 blade from Dallas thts 11-3/4 x 16.5 and it carries the nose great. Like I said above your sled is an amazing work of art. The hard lines are over the top. Great job. I look forward to seeing it in person

Carbs are Not boost referenced
Went down to 90 jets on the primaries for test two and was still a little rich
Just received my Grose prop in the mail but haven't run it yet
I will drop to 89 jets for the next test session
Hoping the Grose prop carries the nose a little better with more top end speed
If not I'll up the gear

I had to move the prop forward trimming the strut & shaft for the Grose prop, but well worth it.
It's much smoother and better lift & bite than my tried & true Menkin's.

Beautiful. With an investment like that I think I would let it sit on the coffee table all winter long just to keep me motivated. Lol. The prop i just got from Dallas has a similar shape to this with the long leading edges compared to props of the past. You’re 21 is a work of art and worthy of one of these props, mine is not nor is my wallet these days. Lol.

Curious, how much forward did you have to move the prop? Thanks

How do you know that it needs to move forward?

Or backward?

How do you know if you’ve gone too far?

Moving the prop forward helps carry the nose of the boat but to high gets squirrely. The Grose prop rides further up on the shaft so I could no longer fit my prop puller between the strut and the prop. I cut 1/2" off the back of the strut and 3/8" off the prop shaft thinking I could shim back if needed with a nickel of two if needed. It liked the 3/8" forward. What it helped with was keeping the nose from dropping down once the main acceleration starts to slow around 95+.
Before with this prop the boat would start to rock side to side at high speed.
