We have a cannondale tandem would lovE to make it an e-tandemReally don’t like the looks of most of the E bikes so I decided to convert my all original 1968 Schwinn Twinn to electric.
Hid all the electrics as best I could. Of course, no one makes a conversion kit for this so I had to do some fabricating and soldering but she works great. Even figured out how to mount a pedal assist on the old school pedal cranks.
It’ll run 32 mph and works perfect to do a beach cruise from our house in Carlsbad to downtown.
Had a guy offer to trade me straight across for a brand new e tandem. Made ours look like a tinker toy!

I'm looking to pick up a couple for these as well.
I'd say sure why not.... its got 7 gears and a 750W motor so good to go.
We are gonna do a ride sunday the 4th from hb to Newport balboa maybe sharkeez and back.
Pair it with the Super73 app and you can turn up the power (not pedal assist) to level 4. Once I did that my RX goes 32ish with a full charge.
I think that is the weekend we are staying in Ocean Beach

The Mesa location. They said two to four weeks delivery, said the container arrived in Long Beach. Don't know how long to get it off ship and delivered.

HB is nuts with ebikes, middle school kids 3 to a bike no helmets taking blind turns at 30mph against traffic... it really is out of control downtown, around schools and the boardwalk. Pretty soon there will be ebike "takeovers" like the ghetto dirtbike groups, but it will be affluent white kids
Unfortunately I think we are going to start seeing a lot more white bike memorials around downtown and near the schools....it is absolutely nuts that the kids are riding them as they are.....no stopping, multiple riders and unfortunately there will likely be loss of lives... Drove by a nasty one last week on Atlanta, elderly lady coming out of the Landmark Senior community, ebike under her car and heard the "young rider" was transported. I myself have almost run over a few down in South HB, my boys want them and I'm a hard NO.
I live on Frankfort at Beach and Indianapolis....I see the way they ride Indy....its nuts...coming off that hill down across beach....and then having to cross Landmark which already has a slower speed limit...I feel bad for the Sr Drivers...not their fault.
This is a screen shot from e lux website. I tried finding the same seat and post last year no luck. Just found similar on Amazon that I couldn't find before. Will compare it to the one I have to make sure. It's only $95 for post and 95$ for seat. $200 total much better than the almost 400 I recall for the upgrade thru bike company. But have not confirmed its same yet. Will post link if the same.
