Lived here for most of my life (since 59' , Grew up in San Luis Obispo and since 75' lived in Atascadero (With a Cabin at Naciemento ) and boated/Hunted most of the entire area , Paso is flat frikken Hot and dry in the 90's pretty much all summer BUT it (and Naci) do cool off in the early evenings due to the proximity to the coast and the valleys leading out that way almost always , San Luis is a very moderate climate "Mediterranean" so to speak but expensive and very "college town" , Atascadero , Santa Margarita and San Miguel weather is much like Paso . all these areas are very nice , very little crime , no gangs , clean ... Morro Bay/Los Osos is flat depressing and over crowded to me (foggy alot) But a cute tourist town and good source for fresh sea food , Housing density in SLO , Morro , Baywood is crazy , Atascadero has very large parcels , I bought "horse property" here years ago , the west side where I live theres very few homes on less than a half acre and average are 5 to 10 acres and zoned to where subdividing is unlikley ... Anyone really curious just call or DM , We have a large reach and customers bring us boats and Jets from all over the western states , People always remark about what a great place this is , Best kept secret LOL

So many bitchen places up that way...

Jocko's. The Hitching Post, Cambria.

There is a place called The Baywood Inn we would stay at, and then go explore Morro Bay. I have a friend in Avila Beach. The pier out there is way cool.

Hurst Castle is amazing. Great aera to be a kid I'd guess!

Well since the lake is usually empty by August, I picked July 1st as a date one could reasonably expect to Maybe still be boating up there. These numbers look strangely familiar! 😁

I'm not too sure where they go 90 is the "maximum" temperature cause I have been there when it's hotter than that over 4th of July weekend. That is actually one of the hottest summer holiday weekends.

This last summer there were MANY weekends where Paso was hotter than Tucson and it wasn't because Tucson was exceptionally cool.

Next time try A Town diner , Old school burger joint , breakfast all day awesome customer service Josh and I eat there every Thursday , like a throw back in time
There is a bar/ restaurant right off the freeway we always go to as well . It has some kind of card room underneath i think . There is a gas station just north of it . We love it there too . If we are ever back in California in the area we will definitely try your recommendation .

Weather data collected from the National Climatic Data Center Global Surface Summary of Day. Information from the NCDC may be incomplete. Not every station reports every day, and some stations never report certain values. So since it's apparently not 100 percent acurate, I'll let you slide on Your bet.

Ahh.... you're using 1 particular day to decide of the climate is similar? Pretty narrow sampling.... here your same site and same day but for 2019.....

Haven’t been to Navi in a couple decades. But I still threaten to every year.
I’ve woken up there and not be able to see the lake from the camp ground from fog. Then be scorching hot that day.
Mobster, you’re reaching pretty far, got to side with Flyin’ here.😁
