From what I heard is no body in the 2nd drum.

I also heard on the radio this morning that the human remains found near Callville Bay they do not believe there's any foul play.

I saw a pic online. It too was in a barrel and half submerged in the mud.

Who knows with photoshop skills these days how accurate it was.

Well maybe you have more info than I do, I saw the one picture of a half submerged barrel, but the news said there was no body.

I saw a pic. I don’t think that qualifies as more info than you lol. Just sharing what I saw. I’ll look for the pic and let the professionals here decide.

You were correct, not in a barrel. I saw this pic but didn’t realize the barrel on the right is the first body. The left is the latest body found.

In one of the threads I posted that I don't think the Callville remains would be suspect, every year we talk about the unfortunate events of someone diving in the water an never resurfacing. When the news said skeletal remains this was my first thought. The drum is definitely personal, and the closest marina from Vegas, it just makes sense.

Either way it's unfortunate, I grew up on Lake Mead, even when I was a kid I remember my parents joking about mob bodies, now that the lake is this low it's telling the truth. More bodies will most likely be discovered, I just don't think all will be mob hits.

In a news release, the coroner's office stated medical examiners identified the remains as Las Vegas resident Claude Russell Pensinger, noting “The identification was based on DNA analysis.” The coroner's office stated Pensinger's skeletal remains were discovered by park visitors on three dates last summer.

The story says six bodies total...

The first set, which had a gunshot wound, was found inside an eroded barrel May 1. Investigators said the body was a homicide victim from the mid-1970s to early ’80s.
