What kind of boat would you need, to roll a 55gal barrel off the back of it?

You would think they would have gone dead center in the middle of the lake... I know the water had dropped significantly over the years. but that seems pretty close to the shoreline even for back in the day if it is exposed now.

My brother and his family came over this evening and he mentioned this breaking news. I told him it's like that body they dug up by his house that was dated back to the 70s.

He told me that the news said it was a homeless person that died in the late 70s. I told him I don't know of a homeless person that would be in the middle of nowhere that somehow gets buried.

Maybe that’s the guy in the barrel from The Counselor.

If it was the Mob, they would of put an oxidizer in with the body and poked holes around the barrel to let air bubbles out. That shit would of been all gone in a year. So I've been told.😎
No cap on the two inch hole on the lid, and looks to be punched with a few holes on the existing side. Floated out and shot up to sink?
Looks to be wearing a polyester or nylon type collared shirt, like the ones the dealerships had.
You know damn well they'll be sweeping the area to see if it's a loner or group.

It’s pretty close to the middle of where the water line “was” and where the island is.

I wonder if when they sweep the area how many other barrels will be found. 😳
There are a bunch in the weeds by Boulder Harbor. I went down Saturday saw them all and didn't think anything of it. Was 20ft up from this one walking toward the ramp.

Might cruise back down again today.

Friend of our family was old Vegas Mob. Part owner of the Sahara in the 50's. He always said wait until they start building this or that way. So many bodies buried.

News release that the sheriffs department found the remains of his wallet in the barrel and now have a tentative ID, Bob Burr.

We added some flood channels at the old landfill on sunrise mountain about 10 years ago. That's back when the Italians owned the trash company before they sold out to republic services.

We always joked that they would end up digging up Hoffa. They did dig up old playboys and a few pets, but never a body.

Body looks to be in good shape. Teeth and DNA should be easy to get. Someone just said to themselves, shit.

Judging by how corroded that barrel is, whoever killed him is probably dead by now.

What kinda shitty barrel would corrode that fast? I thought those things were 50 years in salt water?

Could be 2FORCEFULL’s body after leaking information about the lake levels.
