Current Situation - a picture thread

Been years ago now, but enjoyed a few days on Lanai below the water and 4 wheeling the back roads. Did anybody share the history of the trees planted along the distant ridgeline in three of your pictures ? I'm sure if you explored any of the jeep trails on the opposite side of that ridgeline it became self evident.

We had an island native give us an island tour. She was great with all the history. She owned the local newspaper but sold it to Ellison just prior to Covid.

Pretty amazing history of the island from the cattle ranches to the pineapple fields. Now pretty much barren desert except for what the 4 seasons use.

We had an island native give us an island tour. She was great with all the history. She owned the local newspaper but sold it to Ellison just prior to Covid.

Pretty amazing history of the island from the cattle ranches to the pineapple fields. Now pretty much barren desert except for what the 4 seasons use.

I'm sure that was an extremely interesting tour. Considering how dry that island is, I was amazed when we 4-wheeled the ridge and how effective those pines were at capturing the moisture from the passing clouds. Trails were slick as snot and everything was dripping wet.
I enjoyed watching a few ships traverse that passage between Lanai and Molokai one afternoon, they were getting hammered.
Completely unique experience than any other island we'd explored.

I had a delivery in Denton Texas. Birth place of my Peterbilt. I got a little tour inside, and a few pics. This little Pete is the oldest know living Peterbilt, number 4 off of the assembly line, and completely restored.

We towed the boat up to Lake Powell at the end of June. Have left the boat in Page in storage in between going back and forth from havasu, brought it back to Havasu Sunday. It was a great way to get away from the heat and crowds in Havasu.

We ran the jet ski’s yesterday and I couldn’t help myself today… the weather is so perfect and we have had the lake almost to ourselves.

I just had to launch the boat today.

Wow that’s hard to find keep him why you can. In the heavy industrial repair it’s hard to find anyone that stays past lunch on the first day. Once you get to the race I like to show off to the new guys cut both side almost through than smack it with a sharp chisel one time when it falls apart they always look dumb founded lol

So nice. I don’t know a lot about trucks but one of my buddies has a lot of nice ones. One of his main drivers pulled up to the job today with a brand new 2 axle with a big motor and a wet kit this morning that had a similar look

This was current situation (last weekend), parked for a stop shortly before the dog tried to exit the boat portside and fell into the drink!!! Had to fish her out while docking the boat, in front of a restaurant full of people.... Thanks Luna! (dog).....
