My son is their diesel mechanic, I drop in there from time to time to get the car washed and get to see some interesting stuff. Clean trucks for sure, the porters wash them weekly.

It's so nice out here right now. We didn't see a single boat out on Grant lake, this was a few hours ago. Lake is pretty full..

I'm not.. I brought my Dad up here. He really needed to get out of the house.. So, this trip is just a mellow trip for us. We're cruising around, watching football, eating good etc... I might hike Convict tomorrow. I might come back for the Bishop Dualsport ride in Oct, game day decision.

Got to the river early enough yesterday to have time to take the Slow Disaster out on the water for a bit. Love this ridiculous little boat. So much fun and zero wipedown, worries, etc.

Been years ago now, but enjoyed a few days on Lanai below the water and 4 wheeling the back roads. Did anybody share the history of the trees planted along the distant ridgeline in three of your pictures ? I'm sure if you explored any of the jeep trails on the opposite side of that ridgeline it became self evident.
