Thank you. We have been once but didn’t really explore As it was a day trip from the in-laws in the area. Looks like we need to go back and explore more one of these days.

Neighbor made captain crunch dusted ahi last night. Shit was insane!! Just a hint of sweet with the ahi. Not overwhelming like you’d imagine.

We drove the first section, cool place to put new truck in 4WD.

Maiden voyage of the Kalawain I picked up in Cali.
No leaks, didn't really get on it(maybe quarter throttle), seemed to run fine, took awhile to plane out, maybe because I'm not familiar with the cavitation plate pedal. I really didn't mess with it. Some smoke coming out of the headers where bolted on to the heads (almost seemed like it was over heating). I'll check the impeller and header bolts as well as putting a couple of gauges on the heads. Satisfied with the first run, tho it was way too short!

Check out the 7 Sacred Pools if you havent. You can hike there or you can take your truck down a tight trial via Soldier Pass. Kinda cool to check out.

Thanks! I ordered a couple of impellers, and gonna play around with the left cavitation pedal next time I'm out. Stu said he set the plates at ½"...but yea it was a little sketch when I took off, seemed to be dragging way too much compared to my Lavey.

Removing LML Duramax’s installing 8LV 370 Yanmar’s. I like the GM’s but I need to try find a way to incorporate the heat exchangers and charge coolers as a unit on the engines. I initially thought it was better to remote locate them low in the bilge but it proved to be too cluttered and very difficult to fix if something went wrong offshore.

They need to be more like this.

Cleaned up all the wiring for my Pops on his Outrage …. Nothing boujee , just made things tight & clean.
Moved the vhf to right inside the access door since we rarely use it. Replaced all the wing nuts on the terminals w/ locking nuts. Should be good to go.

Obviously we spent the day at Universal Studios and I loved spending the day with the family.

While looking around the Jurassic gift shop I noticed a little girl probably 6-7 years old signing to her dad, I told my daughter about it just kind no biggie but she walked over and just started signing to the little girl. The girl was born deaf which forced her parents to learn ASL. My daughter felt like she needed to say hi because very few deaf people can communicate with random people without a pen and paper and it brought a smile to that little girls face. Proud mom and dad here.
