New cars are almost 100% done. We’ve got a ride this coming weekend then going back for window nets, springs and windshields. Conery did a great job, lots of little things to make it work with a big guy

Almost got hit by 2 of these fuckers on Monday and 1 yesterday. We have one direction of the road closed for our safety and theirs but they don't care if I don't go home as long as they aren't put out. This is probably the 7th or 8th person today.

Took the Kalawain to get registered and a HIN #..made it almost home when this happened!

Both of em went! At least it didn't happen on the way home from Cali!

The clear coat is total junk, I'll put her on the water next Tuesday weather permitting...sounds pert healthy tho. I'll keep ya posted

Did a family ride from Williams to the GC. Cars did great and wife drove the Turbo S. Was a long ride for her and my aunt but all had fun. Not too many pictures, but the trails were beautiful.

This is what it's all about and why I enjoy coaching. I am once again one of the shotput coaches for our local youth club track team. I love being a positive role model to these kids and helping them become the best they can.

This girl started in 2022 and she was a firecracker, lots of attitude, incredible strength, a little angry at times and a TON of talent. We helped mold her and channel her attitude into throwing and she has turned out to be one of the top throwers in our conference, she is 2nd this year and is only 2.75" behind 1st. She is a little hard on herself but is one of the happiest throwers and now has her sights set on kill for varsity finals next Sat to take 1st for our conference and I know she can do it. For the record this 11yo girl has thrown a 6lbs shot 25' 7.5" this year, we have a 14yo (she is an amazing story of her own) girl that is in 1st for her age group that threw the same weight shotput 25' 8". Lilly has a 26' in her, I know it. Actually both of these girls have a 26' in them.

She got one for each of us (3) coaches.

Update:

Today we threw in the varsity finals at Westlake High School. It's an uphill pit so it's very, very difficult to improve here, most kids get discouraged because their distances are usually 1.5-2 feet shorter than what they are used to.

Like I said in the previous post she was number 2 in our conference, she was 2.75" behind 1st place. Her best previous throw was 25' 7.5" and she brought it today, she was set on kill and taking no prisoners. Her first throw was her best at a MONSTEROUS 26' 6" bomb . She took 1st, we had a first year thrower that was in 3rd throw a new PR and took 2nd and the old 1st place got knocked down to 3rd, we took 1 and 2 today in the 11-12 girls and they move on to co-conference next week, top 3 in each age group move on to co-conference.

We also took 1st in 11-12 boys and 1st in 9-10 boys and 1st in 13-14 girls. Overall great day.

My son had an off year and didn't do as well as he wanted but he fought hard trained and practiced and is overall happy with his performance knowing he did everything he could this year and left nothing on the table. Good lesson this year for him to be proud even though it wasn't what he wanted and to learn that we can't have a stellar year every year.
