This one is a wedding gift, I do plan on doing a couple for RDP, (I've said this before), but I do plan on listing some this some time.

My Black Lab will do that at the river, it's a 114 out, and I'll find him just sound asleep baking away. His fur gets so hot, you can barely touch him. I make him come inside when ever I find him doing it because it makes no sense to me.

So our Niece and her husband bought a foreclosed fixer (from the bank) in the Windsor Square area of Hancock Park during the last downturn. Built in 1921, it needed a lot of work but it has now essentially been brought back to its former glory.

Anyway, we were over there for a family party this weekend and spent most of the time in the pool. What really struck me was how nice 100 year old trees can look. Pretty hard to reproduce. These Italian cypress define the South side of their property. I can’t recall ever seeing any this nice.

Great afternoon on the water. Took the boat out with a friend who has had family in town and he has had to be the responsible one. He was able to relax and have a few drinks for a change. First time that we retrieved after the sun went down. The day was our friend, myself and our two sons. After I got home and talking to the wife realized that I did not have one minute behind the wheel. Our son did all the driving.
