I started a new company and have not had a day off in two months and my First day off with my sweet wife ( not complaining as that means business is unbelievable!). I won't lie; I probably worked at least 2 to 4 hours today but definitely enjoyed the pool as well.

I've heard it mentioned a few times on here, but what are sweeds? Grade is important for my rebar placement, but I've never heard that term before.

It's a way to check grade for dips or humps. Think stringline without the string. Set the end sweeds on fixed elevations and place the 3rd one between. Sight the tops and that tells you fill or cut. They're obsolete with young guys, except me. Gray hairs know what there value. The last picture indicates the grade is low and needs fill. When you get good with them you can start offsetting them and really get fancy.
