Went out to a property in Yavapai that the in-laws passed along to the wife. It is a bit off of Route 66 near the train tracks. While there a few trains passed by. There are a few structures there. Never was sure why the house was never built. Everything was built before the in-laws bought it. Looking forward to exploring the area over the next few months.

Bought a dishwasher from Best Buy/ Pacific sales.

Told the sales guy: make a note, we have a 1/4 mile, super steep driveway with a tight 120 degree turn at the top. You must bring a small truck.

LOL today:

Me and my son working/setting up this supercharged Ariel Atom at Area 27. At 75, it feels good behind the wheel, more room in it for old guys like me then in the Formula 1600 cars.;)

It's me in the Van Diemen Formula Ford 1600. Super tight space.

Great day on the water with Tim and his better half. Wife pulled the boat off the trailer and did a little driving. Turns out she’s still not a huge fan of being behind the wheel. Nice ride to check out Pirates but ended up at Topock for lunch.
Followed a super clean Eliminator up river. Saw a thai inspired fishing boat at Topock. Really wanted to see it get on plane

Was a great day and Stephanie did an amazing job pulling boat off the trailer and giving us a ride. That helicopter was booking and rather close to the water.

Maybe a modular home there at one time?

Maybe but there is nothing remaining. At least the other structures have some left to it. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
Yea just a guess, but that's normally how you set one up. Again just a guess, but foundation was started and home never delivered?, taken away? or burned down.🤷‍♂️ nice property though.

Damn, would have loved to grab a cold one. We launched and went for a quick run to Pirates/Topock. Pulled off at 3ish. When are you guys out next?

Yeah, I was hoping to spot you at some point and say hi. Like I said though we’ve had a very mellow weekend laying low.

I don’t think we’ll be back until earliest sept if Dave does the RDP regatta and if that doesn’t come together we’ll be out in oct for the trip we do up river for 11 days.

Too damn hot out here already. Can’t do July and aug out here anymore. Looking forward to running in the big blue this summer though. 😁👍

Burned some diesel this weekend. Parents needed a drain culvert built and we had some old busted up concrete lying around. My son "meatball" was there helping every step of the way
