High school sr. prom was in that building. 1980
Ah you're doing it right I see.... glad to hear about the easy covid stuff there. Really odd weather pattren next several days but Avalon always fun in off season.... go shoot pool at the dive spot around the corner! Great jukebox... best way to meet locals that only come out of hiding in winter!Yep they are still running. Been coming here for quite a few years. And I have never seen as many people puking as I did today
No vax protocol at all. Mask on the boat. Unless you have a drink. Wore a mask into vons to pick up drinks(cause I didnt want any issues, when it comes to drinks). Other than that it's not too bad. I wouldnt be here if there was "vax requirement"
But I'll keep you posted. Here till next sunday!

I sure miss the high end Italian spot on far side of town walking towards casino... it closed while back and was a Sinatra tunes classy place. Holler if its re opened... I'd make a trip across for that. Walk main walkway down to close to end and it had maybe two tables outside before you enter. Its near where paths kinda split.JL's Locker Room (now it's just the locker room)is our go to! That and the Marlin!
And yes the weather has been crazy today but they definitely could use the rain!

Yup, now I recall that name....sweet that he's got another in action. I'll make a mental note to check out small one.So that was the "big Antonio's" he closed that down a couple years ago but still has the "small" one by JL's

Oh Whew, I thought you'd ridden through the cow piss run-off. OK, I'm out of touch with modern bikes, but having road racing tires on what appearances would suggest is a motocross bike seems really weird. Then go mud bogging --- I'm befuddled
Stiff Squeeeeegeeeeee dilemma But really, who goes mudding with road tires on a motocross bike ???????WELL!!, back to your Window Washer Dilemma.

Yes Sir.Back of Prado?
It usually just goes up the canyon.Stiff Squeeeeegeeeeee dilemma But really, who goes mudding with road tires on a motocross bike ???????
It’s called SuperMoto and is a combination of dirt and street. Been around a long time.
It usually just goes up the canyon.
But
I got it out yesterday just to ride it around town.
Then decided...."why not", when I saw that I could go around those barriers.
Lastly:
The cows are mostly gone from the west side of Chino.
But I have 100% recieved a dowsing of cow piss back in the day after a good rain.
I have watched this movie every year on Christmas Eve since 1990 and on Christmas day "Its a Wonderful Life" and so the tradition continues.
Around 2006-7 I was wiring a large church on the west side. Hated driving down some of those side streets after a rain knowing I was throwing cow piss all over my truck. Though it was the now wealthy X-ranchers who were funding the church, so I suppose indirectly those stinky bovines made me a few bucks as well.
Now that rvrrts429 has shared the concept of Supermoto, now I get what the bike's about. I tell ya, I don't think I've ever seen a Supermoto bike before, so the combo struck me odd.
Is that grads? If Supermotos were people, they'd look like this..........

Dont forget Lual Larrys!
No Pic to go with the story but was sitting at the bar at the MGM in Vegas a few minutes ago when a prostitute approached me and ask if I needed some company. I told her she couldn't afford me...she smiled and walked away...
I haven't done Vegas during the lifetime of many younger RDPers, but your story got my attention. Used to be prostitution was seriously frowned on in Vegas and I believe Clark County as a whole. I know two Orange County Sheriff deputies who worked vice in OC, decided to make some side money in Vegas and got run out of few casinos.
I know one of our more memorable Vegas guy trips we ended up at Ash Meadows Ranch on the way home. My buddy's dad lived in Vegas and worked on Nuke projects at the test site. Seems our Nuclear testing was often followed by trips to Ash Meadows or other nearby brothels. Heard that the old Vegas bosses didn't appreciate distractions. They wanted gamblers gambling, not banging some chick they weren't getting any rent from.
Guess times have changed, from what you guys report, Vegas is like adult Disneyland and filled with distractions and alternatives to gambling.ast time.we were here was
Last time we were here was about 10 years ago...yes its changed and for the worst in my opinion. My high school years (and a few after) were spent right there (we’ll, about 1/4 west or north). We lit a lot of bonfires and rolled at least 2 trucks playing out there. lolWent for a muddy ride in the south side of Chino.

The cigs tucked in Barrett’s garage out of weather. it’s gonna rain tomorrow anyway. But man, I’ve been following your posts. Looks like you guys are having a blast. Was just talking to some friends about running a few boats there from Channel Islands and Santa Barbara harbors. Long run but could be fun for a weekend. Can’t wait to get back over there, it’s been a little bit.
Have a great time man. Go by Steve’s steak house and grab a slab!
