Uhhhh because after a boat ride back from Pirates or 3 Dunes, that's what happens.

We always end our day with an hour of Channel time to let the ones that fall asleep, stay asleep for a little while. Boat with kids and you will understand.

Even without sleeping kids, squirting boats and people who are minding their own business is wrong.

I thought it was kind of a thing the people on shore and boats do as a little war. We do it on the 4th in Naples harbor canals. It's awesome.

But even this flat water here at Havasu!... I make sure water comes over the front, back, and sides before the day is done! ... If a boat can't get wet!-- what good is it??

I have tamed down a lot while we are beached with other boats at 3 Dunes and other spots.......just too much to keep up with between my kids and neighbor boats. Kids are going to be kids and its inevitable that the boat gets wet. I let them go to town and then wipe off right as we are ready to leave. The best is those mid week days where we find a beach to ourselves and they can play away from the boat all day.

I get on the kids a lot when they splash other people's boats but if you pull up to 3 Dunes on a Saturday when it's all packed in and expect your ride to stay spotless, then maybe you should find another beach and this is coming from an OCD nutcase.

I had someone hit my daughter right in the face when she was under 1yo and sleeping in moms lap. The boat next to water cannons took care of business for me. The 3 cannons were all smashed against the sea wall and broken. I ended up buying pizza and beer for those guys that night.

Prescott Az in the 90s had water wars downtown for the 4th of July. I believe they shut it down because it got too stupid. It's a slow cruise around the town square because the traffic is hurendous. People water ballooning and squirting from the vehicles, streets, and roof tops. We always went fishing in the morning and water wared in the evening. If we got in a sticky spot and started to lose we would start throwing the mornings catch at other people. The looks on their faces as they ran off yelling, " THEY ARE THROWING FISH" was epic.

No see that’s the absolute worst mentality to have imho, you are basically stating “if you don’t like people breaking the law just don’t go near it” no they need signs on the shore with a warning, as well have shore patrol it’d take three officers on bikes to just go back and forth! I’m not pro more law but let’s be real the lack of respect from people these days is incredulous. I’d love to see a sign that stated “minimum fine 1500$ ...” (and enforced) that would maybe get through the heads of the trash balls that find it ok.
