Oh and for those that would like their Schiada's Gelled but want to maintain the "non skid" on the bow.. :)

Islander can do it!

That is Gel (not paint) on the non skid of the 10'er.. and you can see there is no loss of detail!

Updated Pics.. The boat hasn't been wetsanded or buffed yet which is why some of the lines are a little fuzzy, but overall the body work and spraying is done!! :)

RD

You should gone with the Cowboys and Indians theme like the boat in the background of the first pic....just kidding

Went up to Islander Marine yesterday and saw the 10'er for the first time in person since I dropped it off.. Rick really out did himself!! I am very happy with the outcome of the boat.. :) They are going to be finishing up the inside now, and after that it's time to rig it. :)

Some clear pics of the boat finally.

I pushed it out in the sun and this is what it looked like after I wiped the dust off of it. :)

Disregard sharpy marks on transom, I was just kinda sketching something out in my head to determine if I am going to put Cav Plates on it or not.

So the boat is almost done at Islander Marine.. :) As we're nearing rigging and starting to figure out how we're going to put it together we had to change the floor a bit. Now there is a clearanced area so we can through bolt the cav plates / or tabs to the transom, and place the bildge pumps in the Vee of the boat etc..

The front bulkhead to mount the gas tank is also now in. :) (The bulkhead is glassed on both sides btw.. ;) )

Rick is going to gel the inside of it Burgandy on the sides and grey on the floor with a smooth finish and it will be done and over to Schiada to get the drop through fins installed.. Then back to me to rig it. :)

There is A LOT of thought / and effort being put into this boat by Schiada and Islander marine.

It's done!! Being dropped back off over at Schiada tomorrow. :)

I can't tell you how happy I am with how it turned out, and all the effort Rick and the guys put in over at Islander Marine! If you want the best of the best, they are definitely the shop to handle it. :)

LOL.. Weight is a factor in these little boats, so probably very little if any stainless going on the transom. It will have plates.. I'm quite sure Racey will be involved with that. ;)

More pics. Deck is about same height as fender on 24 Schiada.. Pic of wedge on bottom of seat base and new revised seat back that is flush with gunnel (no head rests).

Looks great! It gives me inspiration to get working on mine. I wanted to make my seat exactly the way you did yours. Thanks for the pics now I have something to show the interior guy. HAHA! Who did yours?
