The 10'er is blue right now (pre re-gel) and the 12'er is blue. When they built the trailer, the guys in the van nuys shop didn't know the 10 was being regelled etc..

The pads are being re-upholstered either grey or black. (Already being taken care of)

The 10'er is being picked up by Islander Marine, and being completely regelled here in the next couple weeks! :)

Finally will have a boat / trailer and ready to start building.. :)

Still have to change the fender pads to Grey, but the boat is on the trailer now, and pretty much ready to gel. :) Going to Islander here pretty quick. :)

Couldn't you get away with the trick low pro golf cart wheel/tires. They might look a little more proportionate. ;)

The Gel Coat scheme has finally been decided on, and they are proceeding forward. :)

It will for the most part be a dead ringer to the 21. :) Some subtle changes just because the boat is so small, but not noticeable.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what Rick up at Islander has in store!

Rick @ Islander marine just finished up blue printing the bottom of the 10'er, and filling in the back of the boat to make it flush.. They also filled the shoebox on the transom (capped in the center)

They will spray the bottom white in the next couple of days. :)

Sprayed the Maroon today.. :) I'm interested to see what they end up doing with the 3 shades of grey.. I told them a fade was ok, but when I saw it masked off, it looked like they were going to match the 21 exactly with 3 different shades.

the boat is fiberglassed (shown earlier in the thread) so next up is either interior, or gel coat.

RD
Do you have someone for your gel coating? Am not that busy today! Are you going to the river next weekend? I maybe will be going down with Denny 197. Have a good one :champagne:

Rub Rail on the 10'er.. They are hard to tie up to docks because they are so small / low freeboard. etc.. I think a capped 10'er would make me loose my hair. :D

Not sure if I'm going to do a stainless rubrail, or a rubber insert like last time.. The bends on the transom are so tight, I'm not sure how well they'd come out with a stainless.

You should have capped the back and stopped the stainless rub rail on the side like they do the 24'ers. (they have a sharp bend at the back too)

It looks Fabulous!!! Makes me want another one. Painted to match my 21' of course.

Put some heat to the stainless molding with a torch and it bends a lot better :thumbsup

Some close up's of the pinlines while they are peeling the tape. :) You can see the grey pinlines on the outside and where it changes to masking tape at the back..

Updated Pics.. The boat hasn't been wetsanded or buffed yet which is why some of the lines are a little fuzzy, but overall the body work and spraying is done!! :)
