Jerry should be an article in spring '93 on Vale.. our friends TR6 in it.. Flat Crazy.

Or how about anything cool out of Liquid Quarter mile with old open or Capsule Pro Gas/blown gas flats pre 97..

:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

I looked through Jan-april and it's not in there. I don't have may 93.

I have most of those and stumbled across some more mini's in an issue from '86. No duplicates I can sell, but I'll scan them.

Can you post more 21 Daytona outboards?

Any Daytona outboard stuff?

While looking for Twisted's mini's I found in the Nov/dec '92 issue DCB Dave's River Romp feature and there's a bunch of 21 outboards. You guys will love it. :thumbsup

Am I too late. I just saw this thread.

I've got a buddy that just bought a 21 ft. Ultra Stealth. It was featured on the Aug/2001 cover with layout. It would be cool if he could get the scan so he could have it printed up on foam core or something.

Thanks,

J

Sorry man, all issues that I'm not loading up on ebay are already packed away. If I remember, next time I pull out the stack I'll help you out.

As far back as I can remember you have always been the leader in promoting this hobby, sport, life style, possibly more than anyone else on the west coast .

From $400 - 1959 bare hulls, to over $1,000,000 full on rigs, the true 'spirit of performance boating' is being remembered and shared with everyone, because YOU started preserving history, while we all just considered it a 'day at work' , or a"day at the races" .

Your work makes me 'kick myself in the ass', and realize that I should have taken photos of every project we worked on, every 'one off' part we made, and every 'lake Ming test session' we ever paid for .

Thank you for thinking of this boating community as your family, keeping our history alive, and always first to offer up historical info, most of us could never find . George

Even though I think you're giving me way too much credit, it is greatly appreciated! Thanks George! and thanks for being a big part of our performance boating history! :thumbsup

Very cool what you are doing...that Daytona Dave article was awesome....where Dave Hemmingson and DCB were really formed in customizing Eliminators....crazy where and how it started....he was even selling skaters at the time.

Then let's go right to the best. 3/95

Build thread is here -
http://www.performanceboats.com/jet-boats/54119-1995-daytona.html

This was my boat. I bought is pretty much as you see it in the photo with a different motor in 2008. I re did the entire boat. New BBC 540 ci 800 hp.Plus an additional 300 hp Nitrous. Boat ran 125 when I had it. Full cap, full white re gel, full custom interior redone, gelcoated floors, stringers and bilge. I sold it back in January of this year. It is a great boat. I might buy it back some day.

Here is what it looks like now.

This thread is like 2 years old! I can't leave stacks of magazines all over the house for the occasional thread bumper. lol

When I started this thread, I did what I could to accommodate everyone and then put the rest of the issues up on ebay. The ones that didn't sell went back into storage and remain there. Sorry.

I've misplaced the issue featuring the 2004 CBBB. We won first prize as best nostalgic flat and also won an award for the longest tow.

I've forgotten how far it was, but trust me when I tell you it's a long way from Plano, TX to the AVI.

We also got a write-up in an issue of Truckin' magazine. They covered the CBBB as well.

They're here somewhere, I guess I'll find 'em when we move.
