Definitely a cool experience. Thanks again to @Tommy Gun Images and @RiverDave for making it happen.

Mach 22's are not easy to deal with when it gets that rough. Tunnels are hard to hold nose up, add in 2.5's and cleavers and you got your hands full.

Gonna merge the 22 and 26 in here.

26 is pretty much dial but might add couple stuff. First will be a fire suppression system. Seen way too many fires and even though I have insurance. Stuff like this can’t be replaced imo.

Hey Chris I’m going to modify my tandem axle on my 21 liberator to a triple. I wanted to see if I could get the specs on which leaf springs and equalizers you went with and how far apart the mounts are.

Also, how far of a drop are your axles? I’d love to basically replicate your trailer.

Thanks!

Not really an update but figure boating content is boating content.

Tried on some new props thanks to a friend. Before I had 30x14.5 3 blade and over all I love it. Does 109mph and possible could go teens if i held it. But boating mainly in Parker makes it tough to ring it out unless I'm there during the week or off season. With the new 28P three blade choppers this boat really wakes up. Feels like a rocket now. I was chasing that 30-90mph acceleration.

Will be bringing the boat back in couple weeks to redo couple things.

Can't wait to install the new gauges and bezels.

Wheels are for sale if anyone is interested.

When I had a 21 Eliminator Daytona with a V8 Johnrude the 14.5 28 Mazco was my favorite prop.

"You chose this life"

Is what my wife told me when my drive blew up.

Last weekend went out on a solo trip after working on the house. Not gonna say i was cruising when the drive let go cause I was on it. haha Was exiting the river mouth at Havasu and about half way thru the lake the boat stopped moving and RPM jumped. Put it in neutral and called Boat Tow right away cause it was getting dark. Truck and trailer is at Havasu springs and Tow driver said it would take 3-4 hrs to get there. Told him to take me to the nearest launch ramp which was Windsor. Ubered to Springs and grabbed the truck. Once I got to the house I drained the oil and pulled the drive.

Ouch! That tooth is from your upper I assume? Menace is about 5 minutes from my house, if you ever need me to swing by there for you I can go almost any day after work. Just let me know.
It's from the lower. Lower locked up and snapped the shaft. Which I hope the upper is fine.

My day job i rebuild a good amount of transmission. I hate the cars that you got to take it light on certain gears. Just asking for trouble and more chaos down the line. So buy once cry once.

Took a trip to IMCO.

Looks like that tcm shaft did its job then. That seals the deal for me on getting it now. You gonna do the upper swap yourself?

I think so. After talking to couple people it doesn’t seem hard.

You able to re use your drive shaft you had for the ext box?

Those pictures make me want to go with silver for mine. But then that means new extension box and wing brackets also to match haha

Nice. Glad I could help. That old saying "buy once, cry once" really hits home when it comes to rebuilding XR & SC uppers multiple times VS upgrading to the SCX.

Let me know if you have any questions about swapping the drives and helmet.
