How much time between when you are notified your number is up do they expect full payment?

How long does a position flipper have to convert?
They say payment 30 days before delivery.

You can convert whenever you want at this time.. I would assume if you don’t want to pay, sell the spot.

Let me know when you can ride your liverwurst sandwich across the desert.
MMMMMMMMMM Liverwurst……anyone know if Oscar Mayer still makes it? Haven’t seen it in Hawaii for years. Anyone know where to find it in Havasu?

That’s not what I heard (between the lines)

1. They havnt made a date yet, so why believe them now
2. They are still working out logistics
3. Still doing design and approval for non chassi items like seats, wire harness, ect
4. I think they are waiting for supply chains to catch up
5. They are already looking at moving away from Hisan to their own deal. That may put these things years out now ( I believe the first ones will be hisan built tho)

That’s if they go away with hisan right now. I don’t think that will happen but small indicators it could. I’m thinking less than 1%

There is a less than 1 percent chance you could win the lottery too. Let’s be realistic.

What he said was their longer term goal was to get a western US assembly facility to make logistics more efficient. That may or may not mean they are abandoning Hisun. They indicated no intention of doing that. They still need someone to make stuff and parts and things overseas.

I am being realistic, less than 1% chance of it happening. As I said lol.

I was listening to what they are not telling you. As well as what they were

There is a ton they aren’t telling anyone. This thread is full of hundreds of uninformed assumptions from all sides, most of which have been wrong.

What indication?
This doesn’t require discussion really because it’s very small percentage. But I believe based on what I heard and didn’t hear.

Hisan is mfg the entire thing with them direct and their supply chain. Mentioning opening a facility in the southwest for logistics abs running it through speed indicates they are not happy with how hisan is managing this.

I believe this to be long term move tho, hence why I said less than 1% chance cars are years out

There is a reason why none of the big guys put all their eggs in one supply basket. Big guys meaning ford, gm, ect

Ask yourself why wouldn’t they tell you more? If it’s done say so!!! What’s the reason for delaying the news?

Who said Hisun is making everything for them? That has never been said. What they have said is they are indeed using multiple suppliers.

There is not a damn thing to gain by describing their manufacturing processes and outlining their supply chain to end users. To be honest I don’t care, and no one with a car order does.

The car is late, cool. Finish it up, make it good, tell me when it will be ready. That is all anyone cares about. They said 60ish days till go time.. great. They know the natives are getting anxious. I don’t think they are stringing this out too much longer than that.

Talked about design changes and improvements
Talked about logistics or lack there of
Talked about hiring finance and logistics people
Talked about additional testing
Talked about writing the service and maintenance manuals
Mentioned 60 days of testing and finalizing things
Chassis has been finalized
Best car And Robby laughs at the competition

End

60ish days until they go live with production.

Car is wired for all options. You can install the optional Kicker stereo (Speakers head unit, amp, and sub) in about an hour in your driveway.

Final order summaries will be sent out in a week or 2.

They ordered 20% more parts than was recommended so they have spare parts for people to keep cars running when they brake stuff.

They have made all their own fittings for the cars.

They revised the rear doors and latches for better ingress and egress.

Longer term they want to assemble these in AZ, not Texas because it take too long to get cars to dealers.

RG LOLs every time he hears Polaris is competitive with the Speed car.

Tell 2 Liter to get ready.

Pretty much what i heard. 1st live feed ive ever watched
There was no 'big announcement ' that we were told on here was going to happen
No firm commitments.
Pretty meh for that

4000 to direct buyers
12000 to dealers
Based on a 20 minute build like they stated it will be about 2.5 years to fill current orders with 1 assembly line

The wild card is the assembly line.
Ive never seen it. Im guessing 3 to 5 lines?

They mentioned west phoenix twice i think
That would be great but lets be honest. If they pulled that trigger now it would be year to be up and running

Are direct buyers getting the first 4000? If so it will tough to see one at dealership this year

Will hastings be sales or just showcase?

It does have some cool shit they thought about.

Direct buyers will have them first.

Remember what you said earlier about people who want one will be “getting them from dealers” and the profit being gone? Care to revise that statement? 😂

Hastings is their flagship dealer.

Why do you need to see the assembly line? Did you see the assembly line for your Can Am in Mexico? They are expecting A little less than a year to get through the current 16k orders. That means the cars will be out for about 3 months before dealers start to see them.

The lol about polaris...

The other guy said if you need a new grill from rear ending a can am or polaris.
Personally i think bringing up the competition is not necessary.
Without the competition you wouldnt even be a company.
It wasnt long ago robbie had his name on a polaris and it was the 'best' you could get.
A little humility wouldnt hurt.
Pocking the lions at this atage of development can back fire.
But what do i know other than as of right now i still dont have covid.
Tomorrow's another day😁

If they were humble they would have 500 orders now and I’d be waiting for a stretched WildcatXX.

I like this way better.

I did not need to see the can am line because it was on the dealer floor.

They orange cement did look good. Plug and play audio is nice. Can am has this now with rockford

I cant imagine the stress knowing you need a huge amount of employees soon.
So bad out there right now.
They need to get some newly retired guys in duallies and let them hit the road delivering.

Makes me think about that pension thread🤔

The hasting location will do good. Same as coyne

So from what I quickly picked up / anticipated thru this discussion is that speed presold 1st round of cars (15,000 cars ) and the next round will go thru dealer net work and the price will go up Up up and up! Just like a regular car can am, Polaris, ford / chevy dealership

RG just needs to deliver the 1st round then He’ll be in the big bucks club!!
