That's all fine a dandy, but your team doesn't have that coach. Injuries are part of the equation. If your team doesn't have depth or players that can stay healthy, you team loses. I am no fan of WSU or Leach but they are playing well and are on a roll. No shame in losing to them as they seem to be the 2nd best team in the PAC 12 north. Their record proves it.

I completely agree, Graham is not the answer and can't wait for him to go.
We got back to the hotel and sat down and had a beverage with some WSU fans to discuss the game and the thing they took away was how poor the fan base was at AsU as a good chunk of fans left in the 3rd quarter. I enjoy talking to fans of opposing teams win or lose.

USC/Cal tonight......home game. Might be a decent game. Cal can put up some points. Only team to beat Utah so far.

The line seems to favor USC but with an offense that is averaging 48 pts it is always a concern.

I'm looking forward to a few drinks at the 90 then walking to the game tonight !!!

Mo Fig is our usual, but my daughter lives on the row and she wants us to stop by her house before the game - hence the 90

One more loss than Utah with 4 to go ..... who let these teams in the Pac 10 anyway....lol

You really feel that way about Utah? I am not a die hard fan or anything living here in SLC but I feel like they compete. They have had a lot of talent go to the NFL over the past decade.

No, I think utah's a good solid team and improving every year ..... it was just my attempt at humor since utah and colorado recently joined the pac 12 and now leading the south.

Hahaha got it. The have been improving, they never could have consistently competed in this league before. Besides 2004 anyway, I think that team could have beat everyone. It was a shame they got Pitt.

Why. Please explain. SC has way more penalties and penalty yards then Cal does.

This was earlier when SC clearly had interference in the end zone. I really think the PAC 12 has the worst refs.

Well that was nice... consistent scoring with 14 pts 3 qtrs in a row!

Gotta hold that ball - can't be letting those turn overs add up. 3 against Washington ain't going to cut it. Over all a good win with strong play.

✌️️ Fight on !

So this quarterback that SC has should have started the season and your team should have maybe 1 loss? He's good.

How would they only have 1 loss. Bama and Stanford were losses that I doubt Darnold could have helped. Darnold started against Utah and lost a close game. Max Browne has stuck thru the all the coaching changes, probation and sanctions. He deserved at least a shot. Rumor has it that if he didn't start he may have transferred to another college without penalty being because he has already graduated. And yes Darnold looks very good for a RSF.

I was thinking about it after watching him last night that Bama may have been the only defeat. I do remember the other kids thoughts of transferring if he didn't start so the coach may have been forced to play him?

Darnold started against Utah. A loss. But with some game experience the result could have been different.

I agree if he would have had a few starts prior to Utah I think they would have won that one...Bama would still be a blow out loss and Stanford may of may not have been...hard to say. I think most likely they would be a 2 loss team right now.

Anyone watch the Utah UW game? Utah didn't take advantage and I could point out some obvious mistakes. But am I the only guy who saw the blocks in the back on the punt return?

I agree.....pretty close game. THE difference was that punt return. Possibly could have been called back. Both good teams. I'M sure IrocDave will be showing up with a one page summation on how UW is the only dominant team in the PAC12. :D They are beatable.

The dropped pass to convert was big prior to the punt and the false starts, especially on the final drive on the 35 or so. Also I hated the trick play on the final drive. Just give the ball to Joe Williams and tie it up.

If they didn't suffer a turd ass loss to a weak ass South Alabama......they might be undefeated and get an honorable mention in the rankings. :D

I'll try to keep it to half a page bub:D

The replay of the punt return was shot from the opposite side from the live shot. I was paying attention during the live play and all of those blocks looked clean. The replay, from the other side of the field was zoomed in on the returner and only showed the blocks at the last second as the defender lunged away from the blocker. Very deceiving angle and duration at best. If were talking about missed penalties, how about the obvious missed holding calls in the end zone on the play before the punt? There were 3 separate holds on that play. That punt shouldn't haven't taken place, UW should have been awarded 2 points and received a free kick. There were 3 bad spots of the ball that gave Utah first downs as well.

Utah has a really good team, and possibly could have won the game if they would have run the ball more in the 2nd quarter, they were gashing the UW D but for some reason decided to try and pass the ball for that quarter. The better team won the game, if they played 10 times, UW would win 7 or 8.

I think Oregon State is going to be a handful next year as well after watching them vs the UW. We will soon find out about USC....

Sorry but those are obvious blocks in the back. First guy breaks down to make a play and gets pushed. I didn't see the hold but I heard it was obvious. Holds don't get called 50% of the plays.

LOL, you didn't see the 3 UW defensive lineman get tackled at the ankles of the QB in the end zone but did see question questionable blocks in the back on the replay of the punt that followed the blatant holding non calls. Watch the play from the live play angle, they were not blocks in the back. How about those 3 BS first downs with 1+ yard generous spots on each of Utah's scoring drives, did you notice those?

Ya they keep replaying the blocks and I walked away during the holds. Is that hard to believe?
