ABD Your boat is a nice deal it was originally Tom Josephs race boat and it has all the good stuff.Tom owns Southern Rods and parts in Carolina . I usually see him at the car races or SEMA and your boat always comes up ....... call him someday and tell him you have it he would enjoy that....

I knew the boat was up in Norcal for awhile. The previous owner traded her in for a new boat from Lee. When my dad bought the 21RC - Lee had to go into his office to call and tell three people to turn around the boat sold.

There's a guy named Al Reed in Anaheim (Al Reed Polishing) who is supposed to be the best. I had a lot of parts done there and most were very old and came back perfect and a reasonable price. He was backlogged for awhile a few years ago when his #1 shop guy died unexpectedly but I think he's back on track now.
Let me know if you want his phone number. Husband and wife team and just really great people.

Hey Mike that's my buddies Schiada. I believe he bought it with the interior already done. I'll try and call him tomorrow to see if he knows where the previous owner had it done.

The first Schiada brought to the east as a SS in 1968. I had this boat built by Len Schiada for serious competion. It was a boat to be reconed with. Boat was blue metalflake with whit white accent, was a work of art as only he could build, RIP Len my friend.

Oh ya it is a keeper... It was out of my budget too but it was less out that the $70-$90K ones were. At my age I don't need to go 110 MPH and I actually like the out drive set up for using in Havasu where the river gets pretty thin heading North. It also runs plenty fast for me...
