I didn't hear any complaining when Roth had John Tomlinson run his 388 Skater for him last year at the shootout? Everyone was congratulating him instead of whining he wasn't even in the boat...
I agree with these guys. The Top Gun trophy winners for years have had a driver/throttle man team running them so I don't see any difference between Debbie's run and all the other driving duos that compete.
^ I am not disagreeing with that one bit ;)
But on the other hand, the "True Queen"...
Highs in the mid 80's and lows in the 60's. It's usually much hotter this time of year.
You can drive to all the stuff going on but viewing the races are best done by boat.
You can fly a major airline into St. Louis or Kansas City and rent a car to drive down. My good friend is flying...
I'll take lots of pics for ya since you can't make it out.
The best place to view if you don't have a boat is the Celebration cruise boat that they ferry people to from Captain Ron's.
The two bars which are the best to see the boats would be Captain Ron's and H. Toads.
Do NOT do any of this when you broker something!!!!
I'm a very busy individual so I broker all my toys when I get bored with them and it's time to get something else. I've done it with cars, motorcycles, and boats.
When it's something that you have the title for, you take the title to...
Why the fuck is his customer's money in his personal account instead of the business's account? That was a huge red flag when I was reading all these threads. That money has no fucking business being in his personal accounts.
I'll be there as usual.
Probably be close between Low Altitude and The Recycler. There's a few Skaters showing up with big Goodwin power. Nauti-Marine has been out this week but I don't think Dave is running it. I've heard My Way isn't coming but you never know.
Honestly, I think...
Not surprising. Most of the guns in our enormous collection were bought at Rock Island Auction Company (http://www.rockislandauction.com) and I've been present at most of the auctions. Personally seen many records set for gun selling prices. It's getting a bit out of control but I'm happy...
For what it's worth since I've been browsing 28 ICC Daytona's, the ones putting up the best MPH have had neutral extension boxes and -1 lowers from what owners have been posting. At least with 496HO's and 525EFIs.
I agree. One thing I like about the 525EFIs is that I can add Whipples if I get bored after some seat time. With the 496HO's and Ilmors, stock is best.
I have noticed that Maxed Out Marine seems to list boats that fit what I'm wanting :D
The open bow has positives and negatives to me. I know it will cost a few mph and I won't be able to get to it easily being 6' / 250lbs but I know my 5yo son would like it.
If that is Last1's boat, yes and it looks like a lot of bang for the buck. I'm a fan of 496HO's because of their rock...
I really appreciate the info
The link I posted was to a open bow F29 with 525's for $129k.
Most of the time, it will be my wife, son, and myself. At poker runs it will be me, wife, and a couple friends.
Please elaborate because I have zero experience with DCB's. They are usually priced alot higher than Daytona's and I was wondering why. A buddy has a '01? 36' Daytona with 500EFI's and I love the ride/quality of his boat which is why I've been looking at them.
That one is on the list of one's we like. For a little more, this is another possibility...
