that expensive harness is likely the one that's offered by MOPAR ?.. I installed the MOPAR harness in a friends JK... that was $450 a couple of years ago... Nice piece. Extensive install and very over engineered IMO.. but it is nicely made.

After many years of making my own using the little square diodes and splicing into the OEM wiring, 2 years ago I switched to the Curt plug-n-play harness... unfortunately just recently had a diode fail in the harness. Unable to change one diode, you must replace the plug-n-play part...
