The Chemical guys are having a great sale right now. Anyone know if there products are good? I’m looking at their orbital buffer, pads, cutting compound and polish all for like $105. A lot of these companies have great marketing and sell a lot of stuff on instagram but you never know if it’s any good.

I was thinking about looking for a good orbital buffer as well to start doing some yearly fiberglass tune ups on the boat and camper.

is this a good one?

Always had good luck with their chemicals and waxes. Currently using their Black on Black, Invincible APC, and their VRP. All with great results.

If you happen to have a black or dark colored vehicle then you may want to try their Black Light car soap as it does bring out a different looking shine that turns out pretty nice with regular washings.

I have one as well and am happy with it. I've done 4 of our vehicles so far and no issues.

I wasn't as happy with a couple of their cleaner/polishes, I got the same or better results with Meguires products at a reduced cost.

Their quick detail and waterless wash are both great for wipe down, and cheap

As good as anything else available ....

I've recently staring to use their waterless wash, detail spray and interior cleaner/protector... Good stuff..

The last 2 years I've entered my car in the SMM Car Show in Chino... Chemical guys always donates a couple of buckets of product for the raffle....

I drop $20 in tickets in a bucket have won 2 years in a row... I'm stocked for the next couple of years..lol ...

With my last occupation I washed a lot of vehicles (Throttle knows what I mean), this is just a small amount of my investment with their products.

They make really nice stuff, each year I will buy a few hundred bucks worth of various products from them. I do very much enjoy Meguiars though and from my research and use the Meguiars stuff goes further and is cheaper. I also use Lucas detail spray and has great results. Some of the car care products is a lot of hype and bs. Heck I spent $100 worth of polishing/buffers from Harbor Freight and have great results. It is all about technique and skills, sure the lubricants are important, yet I have seen some amazing stuff happen with very cheap stuff.

This........their prices say they're top of the line but they're no better then miguares or any others. They put a drop of ceramic in the bottle and now it's "special". Their yellow hexlogic foam pad is excellent for compounding tho.......

I bought the buffer pads and orbital polisher. Works great! So much easier than hand application!

I used their stuff every weekend for years. After having my boat professionally detailed the last few years I switched to what he uses. Shine supply. They’re out of Ventura it works better and looks better when done than chemical guys. Tire shine lasts longer as well. He also has tutorials and specific applications for each product with it on his site. Talks about ph levels for soaps etc. chemical guys is a great product hands down. But imo shine supply is better.

Don't tell @ChrisV that. I've been trying to convert him for atheist a year now if not 2.

I made a post some time back about my black truck with pics of the end result.
If you can find it, it may help make up your mind.
But
I will say that it's a combination of the product, how you wax it and how you remove the wax.
You need to do all 3 right to achieve........."Sweeeet Jesus!!!!!" status.
