CNN —
President-elect Donald Trump has named former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi as his pick to serve as the next US attorney general after Matt Gaetz withdrew from consideration earlier in the day.

“For too long, the partisan Department of Justice has been weaponized against me and other Republicans - Not anymore,” Trump said in a Thursday post announcing the pick on his Truth Social platform. “Pam will refocus the DOJ to its intended purpose of fighting Crime, and Making America Safe Again. I have known Pam for many years — She is smart and tough, and is an AMERICA FIRST Fighter, who will do a terrific job as Attorney General!”

This is a developing story and will be updated.

Hmmm.. @530RL Why would the Libturds fear a competent AG? Sounds like an admission of guilt.
Don’t know.

MAGA’s political views and beliefs are much more closely aligned with the liberals than are conservatives such as myself. You should ask some of the MAGA people. They can certainly relate much more to the liberal viewpoint especially when it comes to being soft on crime.

Good Grief. I rest my case. This Dude has Gerbil penetration of the brain.
Turdy thinks he knows, then proves for posterity that the Moron is strong within.
Dude! Lay TF off the Gerbils...

How is this even legal in Arizona? Call in the Fish cop?
Who has Gerbil jurisdiction in Scottsdale anyway?
Probably an underground Gerbil Ring. Sick Bastards.

Turdy's Gerbil Ranch. Cold Beer! Warm Little Friends..

"This shit is out of control and some poor Gerbil is going to end up paying the price..";):D

Yes indeed it should.
Phelan and even Texas Republicans tried to take him out. Even West Texans.
We sent a message to our traitor with 1/3 voting against him. Get him next time.

Look, she effectively defended him, he picked her. Unlike the current administration, if she isn't working out, he'll fire her!

Get it and we have to trust our man, just very suspicious he's getting hood winked again due to some of her back round. People have to right to be wrong and change, but Lindsey Graham jumping for joy in the present, concerns me bigly.

I'm concerned with anything Gumby Graham supports but I'm willing to see it play out. I do like the fact that the left thinks she's a terrible choice because she is "competent'!

If she has the same posture on the 2nd Amendment that she did 5 years ago . . . she's no bueno for gun owners.
Will be interesting.
yes... I was surprised watching The Dana Show today. She blasted Pam regarding her 2A history .... Definitely a concern just how much she'll concede
